Socceroos striker Tomi Juric has announced that Western Sydney’s AFC Champions League fixture against Guangzhou Evergrande in China tonight, will be his last appearance for the club.

The 23 year-old made the announcement over Facebook earlier today.

It is not yet known where Juric plans to play football yet, however it has been reported that he has rejected offers from Shanghai Shenhua, and much more recently Italian powerhouse Juventus.

Since joining the Wanderers in 2013 after a brief stint at Adelaide United, where he scored twice in seven games, Juric has scored 12 times in two seasons, helped the Wanderers to an AFC Champions League title and played in an A-League grand final.

He also made appearances for the Socceroos in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The young striker was also an essential part of the Socceroo’s successful AFC Asian Cup campaign, providing the assist for James Troisi’s extra-time match winner in the final against South Korea.

No matter where Juric decides to play his football next, he will sorely missed by the Western Sydney faithful.
