The NBA’s most valuable player, Stephen Curry, has suffered a nasty fall in Game 4 of the NBA’s Western Conference Finals on Tuesday.

The Golden State Warriors’ leading shooter landed heavily on his head after attempting to defend a shot from Houston’s Trevor Ariza.

Curry was drawn into an attempted block by a shot-fake from Ariza; the momentum behind Curry sent him tumbling over the forward’s shoulders and onto the ground, where he landed very awkwardly on his head.

Curry was taken from the court and assessed for concussion.

With his side down, and hoping to sweep the series with a win in Game 4, Curry returned to the floor in the third quarter, but appeared noticeably out of rhythm, throwing up an airball and missing several shots.
