Super Rugby 2016: How to watch streaming online and live on TV

The 2016 Super Rugby season is set to be the biggest yet with teams from both Japan and Argentina joining the competition.

This means more Rugby than ever before!

So you don’t miss a minute of the action, The Roar has compiled a complete guide to watching Super Rugby streaming online and live on television in Australia.

How to watch on TV

Foxtel has once again secured the rights to this season’s live coverage and will be showing every match of the 2016 season.

In addition, to live matches and replays on Fox Sports, 2016 is the first season rugby fans will be able to enjoy Super Rugby coverage on free to air television.

Network Ten has committed to airing full replays of matches on Sunday mornings from 8am to 10am for the first eight rounds. Round 9 and beyond are to be confirmed. Each of these matches will feature a minimum of one Australian team. Ten will also be replaying finals matches in full.

How to stream online

The best (legal) way to stream Super Rugby in Australia is with Foxtel Play. Foxtel Play offers all the benefits of a regular Foxtel installation via live streaming.

To watch Super Rugby on Fox Sports you will need to subscribe to Foxtel Play with a sports package.

How to listen

All Australian matches are broadcasted live by ABC Grandstand. The ABC is the only station that covers the event in Australia and they transmit each game online through their Grandstand site.
