Romania will be looking for qualification into the next stage of the competition when they take on a desperate Albania side. Join The Roar from 5:00am (AEST) for live scores and coverage.

Sitting three points away from qualification into the last 16, anything except a loss may be enough to get Romania a place in the last 16 of the competition.

Coming off a loss to France and then a 1-all draw with Switzerland, Romania have failed to show their class thus far in the competition.

Bogdan Stancu scored a penalty for the Romanians in the first half against Switzerland, however they were unable to hold on for the win, and conceded in the second half.

It was a similar story against France as well, conceding in the last minute of play from a Dimitri Payet screamer to have a point snatched out of their hands.

In order to be eligible for possible qualification into the last 16, Albania must beat Romania by at least two goals.

The minnow are yet to score a goal in the competition, although their last fixture against France did see them line up without the suspended Lorik Cana. Cana was sent off for a ridiculous handball against Switzerland in Albania’s opening fixture.

Prediction
Both sides haven’t found their form as of late, however Romania are looking like the much better side, and should get past Albania easily enough.
