When is Brisbane Broncos vs Gold Coast Titans NRL elimination final - start time, date, TV guide, teams

The Brisbane Broncos finished fifth at the end of the regular season and have earnt the right to host the Gold Coast Titans in the first NRL elimination final at Suncorp Stadium, to be played on Friday, September 9 with kick-off at 7:55pm (AEST).

While kick-off has been scheduled for 7:55pm it is likely to be delayed by some minutes due to TV broadcasters interests.

The match will be the first elimination final and the winner will progress to play the loser of the first qualifying final between the Melbourne Storm and North Queensland Cowboys, while the loser will be eliminated straight out of the competition.

The Broncos are the clear-cut favourites to get the win. They’re priced at $1.28 to win while the Titans are out to $3.85.

It will be the first finals appearance for Jarryd Hayne – formerly of the Parramatta Eels, San Francisco 49ers, and Fiji Rugby Sevens practice squad – representing his new home, the Gold Coast Titans.

On Free-to-Air TV, the match will be broadcast by the Nine Network and their coverage will commence at 7:30pm (AEST) with a pre-game show, running until 10:15pm (AEST).

Foxtel also have rights to the NRL Finals for the first time in history and will commence their coverage of this match at 7pm (AEST), or following the completion of the Holden Cup final before it.
