CONFIRMED - Final teams for 2016 NRL Grand Final: Melbourne Storm vs Cronulla Sharks

It’s NRL grand final day! The Melbourne Storm will go up against the Cronulla Sharks this evening at 7:15pm (AEDT), but what do the team lists tell us?

If you are looking for the final teams for the big match, then you have come to the right place. These lists will be updated throughout the day as information becomes available, and then again when the toss is conducted at 6:15pm.

At that point, we will gain access to the final team lists, and exactly who is playing in the game will be confirmed.

The teams as named on Tuesday evening for now though, are below.

Update (12pm AEDT): No late changes are expected from the below team lists. Both sides are expected to be 1-17 with Sam Tagatese likely to prove his fitness.

Confirmed (6:15pm AEDT): As expected, there are no late changes for either team and both will line up as 1-17.

Neither team announced any changes from their respective preliminary final victories after the Storm beat the Canberra Raiders by two points, and the Sharks beat the North Queensland Cowboys by 12.

Both teams did however, add a number of players to their interchange bench – the Storm with a nine-man bench as Young Tonumaipea, Slade Griffin, Matt White, Felise Kafusi and Ryan Morgan were all added, while the Sharks included Sam Tagatese and Joseph Paulo.

Tagatese however, was put into the first four on the bench, while Kurt Capewell dropped to 18th man and could potentially drop out of the biggest game of the season.
