All Blacks are too bloody good, so why don't we try this idea?

Okay, we all know how great the All Blacks are so let’s just give up and marvel at their skills.

Rugby league celebrates the best in Australia going head-to-head in the State of Origin and one roarer on our Roar Rugby Facebook page suggested something similar for rugby.

Scott Herangi was replying to a post about how the All Blacks had dominated the Rugby championship becoming the first team to secure the maximum number of points (including the old Tri-Nations). That is, a bonus point win in every game.

His simple suggestion immediately resonated with other Facebook users, especially when Scott pointed out how there would be more than enough talent to fill both North and South New Zealand sides (based on where they play Super Rugby).

Scott came up with this as a starting point for the discussion:

North
1) Faumuina
2) Coles
3) Tu’ungafasi
4) Retallick
5) Tuipolotu
6) Savea
7) Cane
8) Kaino
9) Perenara
10) Barrett
11) Savea
12) Moala
13) Lienert-Brown
14) Milner-Skudder (when not injured)
15) McKenzie

South
1) Moody
2) Taylor
3) Franks
4) Romano
5) Whitelock
6) Squire
7) Todd
8) Read
9) Smith
10) Sopoaga
11) Naholo
12) Crotty
13) Fekitoa
14) Dagg
15) Smith

What do you think Roarers? Does this idea have merit? Would this be the greatest representative rugby fixture of all-time, bigger than the British Lions tour? So many questions and mouth-watering propsects.

We can only dream that this will happen one day.
