Adelaide are in the exact same position as last season. Struggling to get a victory with only managing three draws for the season so far. They will also being without head coach Amor on the sidelines with the Spaniard in the stands for the second weekend in a row.

United did probably put in their best performance of the season last week with a 0-0 draw against the top of the table Sydney. Some may say Sydney had one eye on the FFA Cup final but Amor will be looking to build from that and hopefully snatch the first three points of the season.

Phoenix on the other hand aren’t fairing much better with just the two wins for the seasons so far and may be last at the conclusion of this match on goal difference.

Last week Phoenix could count themselves a bit unlucky to not at least walk away with a point after a 2-1 loss to City. A dubious penalty in the second half was awared to give City the three points. Like most weeks Phoenix have really good spells but just havent been able to put it together for the full 90 yet.

Neither team has any notable omissions from last round and I would expect both teams to name the same eleven for this week.

Prediction
Really tricky match trying to work out who will win. If Adelaide can match the level they played at last week it should be enough to take the three points. Wellington if they manage to play a consistent 90 they could also get the win. Going to go safe and and say neither team manages to to reach any dazzling heights and further puts in jeopardy boths teams chances of playing finals.

1-1 draw.
