Ever considered who the most underrated player on your AFL list is? I have compiled a list for every AFL club.

Adelaide Crows – Richard Douglas
Always plays his role for the team, never stops trying, shows great endeavour.

Brisbane Lions – Lewis Taylor
A half-forward flanker who goes under the radar.

Carlton Blues – Matthew Wright
Hasn’t missed a beat since coming over from the Adelaide Crows. Played every game last season managing to finish second on the goal kicking for the Blues.

Collingwood Magpies – Jack Crisp
Was recruited from the Brisbane Lions capable of playing a role through the midfield. Played in every game last year, always plays his role for the Magpies.

Essendon Bombers – Travis Colyer
Only missed one AFL game last Season. Plays his role, predominantly playing on the half-forward flank.

Fremantle Dockers – Joel Hamling
Played every game last Season, recruited to strengthen the defence from the Western Bulldogs.

Geelong Cats – Sam Menegola
A quality player, who always put in maximum effort, was third in tackles for the Cats last year.

Gold Coast Suns – Jarryd Lyons
An astute pick up for the Suns. Missed four games last year, but managed to finish third in tackles for the Gold Coast Suns in 2017. Expect his stocks to rise this season.

GWS Giants – Rory Lobb
Averaged nearly a goal per game, playing as the second ruckman.

Hawthorn Hawks – Ricky Henderson
A utility who is capable of playing a number of roles.

Melbourne Demons – Neville Jetta
Managed to play every game last year, he always played his role for the team in the back line.

North Melbourne Kangaroos – Ben Cunnington
The leading contested ball winner for the Kangaroos in 2017.

Port Adelaide Power – Sam Gray
Played every game for the Power last Season, finished third on the goal kicking list.

Richmond Tigers – David Astbury
Finally got some continuity in his footy last season. Was an unsung hero for the Tigers in the Finals series.

St Kilda Saints – Blake Acres
Every possession he has makes a difference.

Sydney Swans – George Hewett
Played every game last season, finishing third in tackles and third in contested possessions for the Swans.

West Coast Eagles – Brad Sheppard
Played every game in the back line for the Eagles. He is a quiet achiever who shows great endeavour.

Western Bulldogs – Caleb Daniel
Despite missing two games last season, he always plays his role for the team. Will never be the highest stat getter, but stats aren’t everything.
