I thought Anthony Don would be gone with Mead out on the wing and Hayne at the back.

Still think he showed promising signs last week that he can produce something out of 5/8. However, like a night shift, it’s the second time round that’s the hardest.

Hayne Plane named as Titans five-eighth

Well I wouldn’t normally be excited for a regular Titans game, but I’m not missing this game. I guess that puts in perspective what he brings to the club. A JT like figure for young kids to idolise and a crowd builder.

I think he will be back playing decent footy in time for the finals, if they make it…

Hayne a Titanic risk for the Gold Coast

Fair enough I reckon.

Norman cops eight-week suspension for... all that stuff he did

There’s no players from the team I support in the side I put together.

The future of NSW Origin

I still think Dugan has a lot to offer. As a QLDer watching the Origin I was always a bit worried when Dugan got the ball.

The future of NSW Origin

Just waiting on the young fellas to mature. Martin looks the goods, maybe even Luke Brooks will be up to the challenge in coming years.

The future of NSW Origin

I was referring to his decision making from halfback, which can be used to help at hooker. I wouldn’t be putting him anywhere else but in the halves for origin. As in the article I believe Peats is the hooker for the future not Pearce. I didn’t go with Ennis as he’s 32 and am purely looking forward a few years.

The future of NSW Origin

It’s an interesting concept, it could work. He has the experience to make quick decisions at the top level. I still believe he can recapture his best form and can be thrown into the halves.

The future of NSW Origin

Latrell Mitchell makes me watch Roosters games, not a fan of them at all but Latrell is a natural freak. I can’t wait to see what his future brings. Watson is a promising prospect as well, lots of potential.

The Roar's NRL MVP: State of Origin Game 3, Round 19

Definitely MonkeyMayes, do you think Mitch Pearce can make a push for a recall next year? I think he has the potential.

The future of NSW Origin

Jake is a big chance to be selected next year, the bloke is a gun. Still think Woods is a great option though. Do you think Laurie will make much changes from the game 3 side?

The future of NSW Origin

If/When Hayne comes back he’ll almost certainly be handed a position. Just have to wait and see what he does.

The future of NSW Origin

I’d probably give it to Woodsy over Graham, being a current club captain and around 25 years old I think… At least another 5-7 years of Origin left in him.

The future of NSW Origin

I did contemplate putting Bmoz in instead of Mansour, but he didn’t do much wrong this year so I gave him benefit of the doubt. I do believe Morris is a better player though.

The future of NSW Origin

Hopefully get some decent commentators on the job. Any word on whether they’ll televise every game? Not just the Kiwi and Roos games.

Channel Seven to broadcast the 2017 Rugby League World Cup

Not a bad thing, will bring new fans to the game. However, if they don’t sell it out, don’t do it again.

Expansion plans: State of Origin to be played on a weekend in Perth in 2019

The Wayne Plane always has a way.

I think Pangai Jr. is going to have a bright future, kid can run and hit hard.
What do you think about Roberts getting a go at left centre? Doesn’t get enough ball in my opinion, even though he hasn’t done a lot this year, he has the X-Factor.

Can the Broncos beat the mid-season blues?

Granville definitely has attacking flare, but I still think Friend or McCullough would be the better choice. It’s open for discussion anyway.

Queensland's Origin future

Definitely need to improve a lot to be able to make the top 4. Maybe they’ll regain confidence versing a depleted Rabbitohs side this weekend, having their leadership group back every week will be a load of help.

Still think Milford is the most dangerous 5/8th in the competition, not based on form obviously.

Can the Broncos beat the mid-season blues?

Magic Johnson was one, even tweeted it. I’m not sure of the names of all the commentators as each team has their own broadcasting. However, from watching over 100 games in the last season, I heard it a few times. Terrible work not being able to identify the sources I know haha.

Ben Simmons is a future Hall of Famer

At least the Blues gave Qld some extra motivation for next year after walking off in Smithy’s speech. No matter how much NSW say it wasn’t disrespect, ultimately, that’s what it was taken as.

Other than that, take out all the penalties and harsh calls both ways, it was a good spectacle for most fans with an exciting finish.

Blues' dead rubber win is a cause for celebration for Queenslanders in the know

Yep, the little fella has shown his worth this season and would provide some spark for them.

Queensland's Origin future

Looks like the Footy Show might be worth a watch tonight with Thurston on the panel… Could be some interesting comments.

Origin fallout: Thurston filthy on NSW celebrations

Definitely won’t be getting rid of Smith or Scott before they call it quits, they deserve to be there as long as they want. As long as Myles keeps performing consistently at Origin level then I don’t have a problem with him.

Hopefully a few big boppers start to come through in the next few years.

Queensland's Origin future

Refereeing was bad at best for the whole series with terrible calls going both ways. Some rules go out the window for Origin, consistency would be nice.

Five talking points from State of Origin 3
