The Auckland Nines were a great success and nobody can deny that but I think that a key to making it better is to…
After a strong Auckland Nines tournament, it looks like the Brisbane Broncos are ready for a return to the glory days. With some key…
mate you must be a QLD fan because no blues fan in their right mind would want pearce at the helm when theres players like brooks, seizer and moses coming through the system
Mitchell Pearce should be Origin halfback in 2015
love milford in there he is a future origin player, not sure where he will play in the future yet but has class written all over him.
Inglis to fullback, Hodges, Tate and Tupou out for Game 2
I agree fully cam smith the champion he is looked slow out there and i believe that it is only a matter of time before either mr mccullough or mr friend can fight it out for his starting hooker role. the sad thing is that it appears the queensland selectors appear to have already made up their mind about friend as the heir to the throne and i highly doubt that mccullough will get much of a look in to the spot which is sad because he is an absolutely fantastic player.
Cam is Queensland's weakest link

QLD Origin crisis: Replacements to the rescue!
didn’t realise we had 4 games against the titans this season, did you mean tigers ahaha
Season preview: Brisbane Broncos
I agree the cowboys will be very hard to stop come september, they have an all star roster mixed with experience and youth but a vital part of that will be finding an able fullback for the year to replace Coote who replaced bowen. but other than that i can see them being a very strong threat this year under the tutelage of Paul Green.
My 2014 NRL predictions
Broncos Have players like Barba, hoffman, vidot, hodges and Reed running around out wide, Nikorama and Hunt steering the ship and guys like Mccullough, mcguire, glenn, kennedy, gillett, thaiday and parker in the forwards. is that enough firepower for you ctar!
Titans to top Queensland cohort in 2014
i agree with the exiles team but if they did that then there would be a huge push for international teams which would be huge overkill for the competition

Some ideas to improve the Auckland Nines
Yeah i agree that Taylor does need some help in the area of stamina, long distance speed and decision making, but he has a full array of attacking and defending weapons. he can skittle opponents like bowling pins on the edges where the smaller players tend to be situated and that is exactly how you deplete a team, having a coal train running at your halfback and wearing him out. yeah he may not be the fastest fella in the NRL but isnt that what you have players like Kevin Gordon or David Mead outside you and he could quite easily put on some footwrork and a fend and then offload it to a flyer on the outside for a break. His decision making will improve slowly with time so we just have to be patient and wait. Although players like Tighe, Blair, Likiliki and Fai Fai Loa are handy they are certainly not gamebreakers. Plus with Taylor in the backs it leaves room for an extra forward in the squad making them bigger and stronger so they can out-mucsle other teams to give their classy halves a chance to set up their backs out wide.
Titans to top Queensland cohort in 2014
Dude do you even watch the NRL, Gold Coast have been easily the worst playing team from Queensland since their inclusion. with the firepower the Broncos have and the solid team the Cowboys have put together the Titans will again finish at the bottom of the QLD cohort. Your team is also all out of concept, here’s mine:
1.William Zillman
2.Kevin Gordon
3.Brad Takairangi
4.David Taylor (could easily fill the void left by Jamal Idris big, strong and hard to stop)
5.David Mead
6.Aidan Sezer
7. Albert Kelly
8.Ryan James
9.Matt Srama
10.Luke Douglas
11.Nate Myles
12.Greg Bird
13.Ashley Harrison
14.Paul Carter
15.Luke Bailey
16.Mark Minichiello
17.Jamie Dowling
Titans to top Queensland cohort in 2014
He may not have the same zip but he is still sure to terrorise opponents with his hard line running and ability to run through people and put shots on!
Questions remain for Broncs despite Nines showing
Rightio then what happens when Milford comes in 2015 where does he slot in then?

10 000 through the gates ha have you seen any of the titans games this year sheesh they couldn’t get 10 000 through the gates if they were handing out free bloody tickets
We must expand the NRL to a 28-team competition
