I have never really rated Mcleod, I’m much more excited about young Cobus Reinach. Him, Lambie, Mvovo, Frans, Jordaan, JP and Ludik. Boem.

My point basically is that Meyer is a man who believes in the process, of laying down foundations like he did with the Bulls.
He has shown a willingness to learn and adjust. I believe this year was a massive learning curve for him, and that he and the Boks will get better.
Next we’ll beat the All Blacks at least once, 2014 maybe even twice with a victory in NZ, and by 2015 we’ll be ready to mount a serious challenge on the World Cup.
Process and patience, that’s Meyer’s style and that’s what we need to remember going forward.

Yebo Biltongbek, couldn’t agree more with you re scrumhalf. Ruan is too slow, period. Imagine Hougie with an uninterrupted Super 15 season at scrummie behind him, then given licence by Heyneke Meyer to play his natural game once we get our attacking game plan going? Even guys like Vermaak and of course Sarel Pretorius will excell behind a dominant Bok pack going forward.
At centre Frans Steyn should be first choice with De Jongh, Jordaan, and probably even JP (will open a place on wing for the Mvovos and Rhules) to fight it out for a place at 13.

I agree, I was talking about Mvovo playing for the Sharks. For the Boks at 11 behind Habana they should give Rhule a shot, even Willie le Roux. And who knows what other young talent next year’s Super will produce? Mvovo is quick but like the NZ wings of old his struggles in defence and is horrible when he has to turn around.
