Haha sorry about that. As for this year. I think the Reds will knock the Brumbies off this weekend and end up topping the Australian Conference. A trip to NZ or South Africa awaits though if they are to go back to back. It’s going to be tough but provided they keep the boys fit, they will be tough to beat. I think everyone will be keen to avoid them come finals time. Anyway. After bragging i’m not going to sit on the fence. I’m tipping the Crusaders to topple the Chiefs atop the NZ conference and go on to win the title. If it pans out correctly with who plays who don’t be surprised to see a repeat of last years final with a change of venue.

What are you predicting?

Reds on the verge of Super Rugby greatness

Liking the feedback. Cheers. I’m not saying International Rugby will never change like Club rugby has. Having a player like Quade. I really hope it does. I just think post-world cup is the perfect opportunity to explore our options.

Why Cooper must be left out of Wallabies

I was referring to Super Rugby when I say club rugby. Correct. The competitors in the Super Rugby comp are in fact “Clubs.” Sorry if it was misleading. And yes. I didn’t make it clear that JOC is my long term option at 10. I still think we should experiment against the Scots and Wales. A few classy performances from Quade will only paper over the cracks. When the intensity steps up. Quade has failed to do the same on the International stage. How long can we afford to persist with him?

Why Cooper must be left out of Wallabies

Haven’t been on the Roar for a while but to all those critical comments. I told you so. Thanks for coming.

Reds on the verge of Super Rugby greatness

Doesn’t the weekend just gone make that team look dumb.

What's your choice for the Wallaby backline?

Beale and O’Connor better runners of the ball than Ioane. Don’t be ridiculous. As for 12. You are too caught up with the two 10’s at 10 and 12 idea. It’s dead. Australia seem to be the only team sticking with this idea. Move on. Barnes is not a genuine 12. Far from it. O’Connor, I wouldn’t know because he never actually plays there. He has the attributes for it but just never plays there. Stick him at 12 for the rest of the year at the Force and then I may share your opinion.

What's your choice for the Wallaby backline?

You’re going into a world cup and putting an outside centre and two 10’s (one arguably a 15 as well) in the no.12 jersey before an actual 12. Faingaa just doesn’t do anything wrong. Very solid. If not him, i’d keep gits there.

Mortlock. Just no. Plain and simple. No. Two steps back for Australian rugby if we pick him again. We moved on from him last international season and it should stay that way. Nothing wrong with Diggers defence in my opinion. That and he is the best runner of the ball in Australian Rugby.

What's your choice for the Wallaby backline?

Why not make an attempted droppy advantage over. Like in Football. No matter how awful your shot may be, if you take one during advantage, that’s it.

Let the debate about rugby's points system begin

9: Will Genia
10: Quade Cooper
11: Drew Mitchell
12: Anthony Faingaa
13: Digby Ioane
14: James O’Connor
15: Kurtley Beale

Genia is the best 9 in Australia hands down. Stop this Burgess nonsense. Same goes for Cooper at 10. The game is a lot quicker today so having two 10’s is not the way to go. This rules out Gits and Barnes from the starting team. I think Anthony plays 12 how it should be played in the modern game. Solid ball runner, decent speed, has more than adequate ball skills and a great body on the line defender. Only thing that gets him over the line in front of others such as Carter/Horne is the Cooper/Genia factor inside him. Digby at 13. Everything a 13 needs to be. O’Connor is a special talent and has to be there. Another no explanation needed. Mitchell. Classic Finisher and very elusive. What’s needed of a winger. Beale. Can create something out of nothing.

Summing up. You have hard runners in Faingaa, Diggers, O’Connor and Mitchell. You have the creative spark from Cooper, Genia and Beale. (O’Connor too. Bit hard from the wing). I know i’ll cop it for Anthony but I feel he is a player who can fit in nicely and brings the right balance. Links it all together.

What's your choice for the Wallaby backline?

I have a suggestion. Stop the clock for kicks and then I don’t care how long it takes and how many there are. Same with the scrums. Then we actually have 80 minutes of ball in hand instead of 50 minutes of ball in hand, 15 for lining up and taking kicks and 15 for setting and resetting scrums. Done. Good. Simple.

Only other way is crack down on infringements and show more cards. Players infringe on purpose in rugby because they can get away with it up to 4 times a game. The players are ruining the sport as a spectacle. No one else.

Let the debate about rugby's points system begin

1: Dragons
2: Tigers
3: Bulldogs
4: Storm
5: Broncos
6: Raiders
7: Roosters
8: Warriors

Wooden Spoon: Sharks

However, I don’t think the Dragons will go one to win the Premiership. I’m going for a roughie to win it this year. Dogs, Storm, Broncos, Raiders. One of them.
