Wouldn’t mind that chump change ????

Twiggy, here's your 2021 shopping list

News report says he picked up 2billion last night at a received dividend of $1 per share.

Twiggy, here's your 2021 shopping list

People say that the MCG should have the GF for the next 40 years. I’d say that is financially unfair to the fans across Australia!
I agree with Chris Scott – the AFL should be held across the country! Maybe where based on prerequisites eg. Size of stadium – cities could bid for the GF before the start of a season.
It wouldn’t matter for example if a GF was between Richmond and Collingwood but was hosted for example in WA. It’s not about the teams themselves but the fans offering them the opportunity to discover the GF experience without spending thousands to fly to one particular state and pay huge accomodation fees to attend a Vic grand final. I don’t want to take it off the Vics I just want to share the GF experience as an AFL fan.

Soccer can do it- when the two English clubs played in Madrid.

The GF would be success attendance wise where ever it is held. If it ends up the eagles play off in an Optus stadium GF or Adelaide play off in a GF at Adelaide oval they’ve worked hard to get there like any Melbourne team that makes the MCG GF.
The main point is the fans and teams should know where the GF is at start of the season. It should be locked in and not based on who finished on top like the other finals.

No matter where a gf is held it will offer an advantage to someone/ team. Let’s just share that advantage to fans so that your regular fan has more opportunity to attend the game day experience no matter where they live in Australia.

Rant over ????????

Why the grand final must always be held at the MCG

I do not disagree with you Tassie- Tasmania should have a team in AFL but this competition has lost the plot. They are so focused on the almighty dollar and new markets that poor Tasmania who already follow AFL are denied inclusion into the national competition. No team is entitled though that’s just bs. Victoria’s are entitled as they earn the right to watch the gf without any of the hardship other supporters from interstate have to go through. Fairness isn’t really about the team but more so the people who follow it. To throw the word about called tradition is bs to the conversion from VFL to AFL destroyed traditions from other local state competitions. The whole talk of tradition in regards to the GF is just bs.

A West Coast win would be a victory for fairness

In all fairness the biggest rort about the AFL grand final is not the travel by the interstate team, not the big advantage Victorian clubs get for constantly receiving the home ground advantage in the GF it is the significant unfairness that prices out the interstate joe blow with outrageous price inflation of air tickets and accomodation that need to fork out for to attend a GF. There is no opportunity for these teams interstate to just by a ticket and attend the GF in their home state. Vics never will have to travel for the gf and experience this. Please don’t mention other finals as the team earns the right to host those finals. The loyal fan of the interstate club always misses out whether it be unable to attend through the tyranny of distance or just the damage to the hip pocket. The average Victorian couldn’t appreciate the pilgrimage that an interstate supporter must go through to see a gf. The availability of tickets both game and airlines the week or more off work to organise ones self to get over to watch the game where as in reality it’s only the actual day needed for a Victorian supporter.

The whole premise of tradition is bullshit once it was a national game! The basis of forming itself as a national game was to the detriment of other state leagues who were pulling in very large crowds to their own gfs before this AFL was born. The whole goal of the AFL is not about fairness it’s about the almighty dollar!

I just know in my life time the only place I’ll see the gf is on tv.

All the other stuff about home ground advantage yeh there is some merit to it but only the entilted get to watch it live.

Much prefer the BBL where I can see a fair contest. Set up the way afl should have been set up.

A West Coast win would be a victory for fairness

Damn auto correct Ruru

Rebels vs Brumbies: Super Rugby live scores, blog

I look at how well the rebels have played and welll done to them, but in general working off the Force momentum from last year and a coach who has been in general able to keep a very good squad. As a fan – what could have been has turned into will never be and that hurt because a loyal fan I did the hard yards at the Force only to Robbed of our potential to shine in SR this year. Well done to rural, Hardwick for that break away try. Crowd is still very disappointing.

Rebels vs Brumbies: Super Rugby live scores, blog

If he is around 2019 and not picked up by another SR team Cooper would be an asset if he was willing to play for any of the planned IPRC teams as a marquee player so not necessarily the Force but could still be a bonus. However like everything here it is just speculation. Whether things will work or won’t work is all academic the proof will be in the pudding. Like the call to SR fans to vote with their feet it will be up to us to put bums on seats to make it successful. Twiggy is doing the hard yards it’s up to us from the west to support his stance.

Western Force to return in new comp launched by Andrew Forrest

I’m stoked! The Force is alive and my membership is now renewed.

Western Force to return in new comp launched by Andrew Forrest

Fionn happy for players to have jobs they did no wrong! Jealous a lot! I can no longer watch my team play super rugby. I cannot go to NIB stadium and cheer them on. I have virtually watched minutes of this season but can’t bring myself to watch a full game. I will have a neutral interest in ex force players and believe Wessels to be a good coach. I am aggrieved that RA and SANZAAR have destroyed my enjoyment of the game.

It’s not pleasant when your the sacrificial lamb. Players, coaches can move on but fans are defined by their team and in general location. I find ‘wow thanks’ comments insulting as they got to keep their team.

If you were a western reds, North Sydney bears, supporter you might understand the feeling.

Enjoy your season but don’t expect us to share that feeling and understand we are still raw about the whole dealing of this ugly episode in super rugby.

Rebels rush home to prepare for Brumbies

As a crushed force supporter it kills not to see my team involved. This being said the rebels have ticked the boxes so far winning the games that have been put in front of them. The test will always be the next game and everyone is speculating how they will go against NZ sides. The thing is they are doing what they have to do at the moment.

Rebels rush home to prepare for Brumbies

Hardly a national team when it provides limited support or representation to 3 states and one territory. Thank goodness we have cricket.

Castle: Rugby Australia prefers local for next Wallaby coach

Yeh why not – Cricket much more inclusive sport for fans. I’m hoping WA will see something good in the future. How did you expect us to act anyway? Just accept it roll over and die! I think i’m allowed to express how I feel about it though! You enjoy your game that excludes us though!

Rookie Reds scrum 'dominated' Brumbies

Thank goodness the cricket is on. The rugby does nothing for me but make me bitter now the Force are gone.

Need to improve crowd numbers in Australia. Very disheartening to see so many empty seats when your team was the one axed.

Five talking points from Super Rugby Round 2

That’s right we got a lot bigger crowds than that! Especially for opening match of season.

Rebels vs Reds: Super Rugby live scores, blog

Hollow it’s empty! It continues to hurt as a Force fan. RA have made this game toxic for us in the west. Until we feel represented the anguish and anger can not be dampened at the removal of our beloved team and today when it all starts in Aus is probably the hardest pill to swallow.

Success is not just measured by wins if crowds do not turn up through the season then SR in Aus has gained nothing from their ultracrepidarian decision to axe the Force. Quite the opposite they have alienated, polarised and discarded fans in an attempt to appease others. The sacrifice of the Force has been dirty and caused a lot of online aggression, baiting and unsavoury behaviour from supporters and trolls on both sides of the fence -it has been ugly.

RA have handled the whole affair appallingly! They have made promises without substance to WA and the rest of Aus.They have rebuffed Twiggy at most turns and used throw away lines like it is all too late.

There has never been transparency in the decision – far from it with a possible ASIC inquiry still to come.

Enjoy your season everyone, but for Force fans like myself it will be empty other than watching the rerun of the last game in 2017.

What do we want from Super Rugby in 2018?

Agree Piru! Although the force will be the least travelled team this year ?

Can the Waratahs overcome a horrendous Super Rugby draw?

Enjoy your rugby from an expendable fan.

The Wrap: Will reversion to 15 teams be enough to revive Super Rugby?

Enjoy your season!

Random pre-season rugby musings

Sadist article! Another way to have a go at Force fans who for the time being at least have absolutely nothing to crow about. I feel for those rebel fans who feel their team has been slighted but at least you have your team and starting next week will be able to watch their team play. Forgive me for not feeling so sorry about people laying the boots into ARU or though – did you expect us just to give up on something we felt was unjust. Whether you feel this is true or not I challenge any supporter from any of the teams if you had lost their team to just shrug their shoulder move on and say oh Well We gave it our best.

We want to be part of it so cherish what you have because when you are told at best you may have to start all over again someday -we’re back to square one. IPRC is something we do hope gets up and I look forward to it. It still doesn’t mean we will forget what happened. If it happened to your club would you?

Sacrifices and opportunities: Life not too grim for former Force players

Total rubbish!

Sacrifices and opportunities: Life not too grim for former Force players

No Brett but heart isn’t in SR when your team has been thrown underneath a bus. I hope players do well but i’m more interested in teams that come out of Perth.

Super Rugby Round 1: Now with 25 per cent more expert tipsters

Won’t be able to tip as no team there to follow. May watch odd game to see how the old Force players are performing.

Super Rugby Round 1: Now with 25 per cent more expert tipsters

What can I say ? My interest in SR is fleeting at best. I will be wanting to know how players are going as they did no wrong when the Force was axed! However I despise the rest of the organisation who did this to my team and the individuals who were involved along with their hollow promises to try and get out of dodge.
