Thanks for showing us your not perfect either, JAJI.

Sports journalist Rebecca Wilson passes away

Red card Zavos. Homophobia should never be tolerated. Anywhere. Period.

SPIRO: The Waratahs are back, big time

Tomic the Tank Engine – ‘Nuff said.

Why do people hate Tomic?

Little Lleyton beating Agassi in the 1998 Adelaide International as a 16 year old and going on to beat Stoltenberg in the final.

Snollygosters the lot of ’em!

The Knightmare is finally over for Newcastle

Not everyone has the opportunity to ‘put in a little effort and search for a link to watch the game’ (sic) as you are assuming that people who love rugby have the spare time to watch and search.
For those that may work or who have other committments at the times rugby matches are played, ‘live blogs’ are sometimes the only way they can keep up with and feel like they are watching games they are really interested in.
That’s why it is incumbent on so called bloggers to actually blog and describe the action and not just comment.

Chiefs v Highlanders: 2014 Super Rugby live scores, blog

Slater is the king of niggle, cheap shots and aggressive actions all covered by his sweet butter won’t melt in my mouth smile and I never did no wrong words. Maybe if he hadn’t got away with it his whole career he would have thought twice about the punch. As it is it will be swept away like all the other incidences that have littered his career because Little Billy is such a legendary football player … Blehhh.

Slater could be the luckiest man at Rugby League World Cup

The Eales Cup really is Nobodys Cup.

Brumbies win the Australian Rugby Championship

Cooper still needs to pay some penance for his toxic comment. It’s a team sport and I can understand how some players, if true, would have been put off by his mouth. Watch him play against the Lions for Qld them stick him on the bench – reckon he’ll kill it as an impact player.
JOC is a stop gap.
The squad is pretty much right – Deans is nothing but predictable and sticks with his tried and true.
Folau demands a spot through stats alone and his big game experience through League is another plus.
Dennis has picked up his game in the last few weeks, but was found wanting at Test match level last year. He deserves another chance.
Mowen is one of those follow me out of the trenches type of players who will give, forgive, 110%.
The starting line up will be of interest to see if Dingo plums for LLF or goes with kicker Barnes at centre. Personally would not have minded seeing Godwin there.

Quade Cooper misses Wallaby squad selection

Not as bad as his Aussie bingle.

SPIRO's LIONS DIARY: Deans says Lions will play "gain-line rugby"

Frequent Roar-reader, infrequent poster.

No offence intended … hello to you too, Wii

Reds eye new piece of Super history

Doesn’t it show how much we have been starved of success against the Kiwis when we start clinging on to silly little milestones like this.

I usually find Wii’s posts as unnecessarily aggressive, but on this he is spot on.

Reds eye new piece of Super history

I am not sure you can say that, yet – he hasn’t even been given a go at Test match footy. Some players grow and extra leg when slipping on the Gold jersey and Mowen would be hungry as all get out after being overlooked for the last couple of years.

His work-rate outshines half-game Palu for one. Reckon he deserves a shot.

SPIRO: Bragging right for both Reds and Brumbies - and the Waratahs

All the hype around Ioane centers around the fact that he almost always breaks the first tackle, has tremendous energy and goes hunting for the ball. Can’t pass, so what? Winger’s are not distributors of the ball – they are usually on the end of movements and Ioane role relies more on hitting the ball up into traffic. His ball retention is sound and he’s got a killer try celebration.

What a game. For once a derby with out the dour. Both coaches obviously gave the instructions for a free-flowing game. Loved the niggle between Mowen and Horwill.

As a neutral this was great for Aussie rugby – bring on those pasty northerners!

Brian Smith has found his niche at the Brumbies

…and tomorrow was the four year anniversary of her first win. Bless …

BREAKING: Black Caviar to be retired

I hear Norman May wasn’t available.

Gordon Bray back calling rugby on Network Ten

198cm! He’s big, but not that BIG.

The Waratahs have the will, but not the nous

Yeah, watching McCabe throw a dummy is priceless – it’s bluffing up there with the North Koreans, although I’ll believe Kim any day over Pat.

Brumbies were poor last night except for the first twenty minutes. It’s like they saw the odds (1.01) and thought all they had to do was score a few then shut up shop. Good on the Kings. Showed passion and never stopped trying.

Two ordinary and listless performances in a row for ACT. Wonder why Clyde wasn’t in the squad. His experience and hard running may have inspired a better second half showing. Handling was pretty crap from both sides, too.

Kings pull off stunning draw

Turning this debate into a debate about the debater’s is taking things a tad too far.

The gist of Mr Wilkinson’s piece this morning was spot on. He articulated what many are thinking and encapsulated their despair and frustration.

Maybe Mr Edwards should take the advice of HRH Waterhouse and simply not read the big lug’s jottings. He may gain back some of the sleep he seems to be losing.

FitzSimons vs Waterhouse: the lesser of two evils?

He’s creepy!

Wish my Mummy came to my workplace to fend off my critics.

But seriously, this is all about over-exposure. Young Tommy needs to lay low for a while and the constant rabbiting on about odds, etc needs to be scaled back.

Everything in moderation.

Is our problem with sports betting or Tom Waterhouse?

Whilst not strictly injuries, two of the most gruesome incidents for me: Paul Carozza’s nose belting Richard Loe’s elbow and Tony Lockett re-arranging Peter Caven’s face.

Don’t see how this can be classed as an athlete having no regard for their own well-being – looked like a pretty innocuous attempted block.

VIDEO: Is Kevin Ware's broken leg the most gruesome sports injury ever?

Too true. At his peak Gregan was one of our greatest ever, but should have stopped around a hundred tests. My memories of his last couple of years were less zip, ponderous service and an infuriating habit of playing for penalties not the whistle. I think Genia is at a similar stage that George was at (without ‘that’ tackle) and hope he’ll know when to hang the boots up.
Never saw Catchpole play, but from all accounts he was special until his leg was treated like a chicken bone by bully-boy Meads.

Will Genia the prince of halfbacks, but Gregan is still king
