Pick your Australian team for the Ashes

Australia's David Warner and Steve SmithIt’s always a topic of contention heading into any major series, but never moreso than before the Ashes: who should Australia pick in their Test XI?

Ahead of the first Test between Australia and England at the Gabba on November 23, we want you to tell us who the Aussies should pick in their team to earn back the famous Urn.

Is the combination of David Warner and Matthew Renshaw the way to go at the top of the order? Should Usman Khawaja be called back into the side at first drop? Should the number six position be filled by a batsman or all-rounder, and who on earth deserves to take the gloves?

Those are just some of the questions you’ll need to answer when picking your side using our selector tool, so get cracking right now!

To pick your team, select a position in the batting order, then pick the player you’d like to play there for the Aussies.

Once you’ve selected your 11 players, nominate a wicketkeeper and captain, then hit ‘Share’ to show everyone the XI you think will get the job done for Australia this Ashes series.
