Euro 2012 will begin on Saturday, June 9 (AET) and is being broadcast on Setanta Sports on Foxtel and Austar, while SBS will be broadcasting selected matches on delay, and daily highlights at 5:30PM on SBS Two. Four Euro 2012 matches are scheduled to be broadcast live on free-to-air television.
We’ve compiled a Euro 2012 TV Schedule based upon the information currently available.
In the group phase each of the four groups will be playing their final match simultaneously, meaning that Setanta will be able to only show one match of each of the groups’ final matches live.
We have all the updated information as we can and will endeavour to update this page with TV guide details.
Similarly, while SBS have announced their intention to broadcast live two of the four quarter-finals and one of the semi-finals, they have not yet specified which of the quarter-finals/semi-finals they will choose to broadcast.

C’MON GREECE! Bring some pride and happiness to this country that has been living in despair and hopelessness the past few years. GREECE FOR EURO 2012 CHAMPIONS!

Unfortunately, you won’t be watching Greece on SBS. And I won’t be watching Italy playing England. Still, the small number of French, Czech, Portuguese and Spanish residing in this country will have their home countries to watch.
Too bad for the huge number of Italians, Greeks, Germans and English that live here. I’m finding out about how to watch the games online. I poo on the bias that SBS often shows, especially towards the ‘poms’. Shame on you!!

Can only agree SBS must have had a lobotomy to the frontal lobe – cater to 10% of migrants in Australia rather than the 80% – why not do all the quarters or is it the usual case $$$ more important than fan.

It is called the free market. The Euro tournament
is not on the anti-siphoning list so SBS and all
the other networks have to stand on their own to feet. The
Coverage goes to the highest bidder the
way it should be!
Pretty sure all games are live on Foxtel, which is great!
So join up.

No, is not broadcasted on Foxtel Sport, only on Setanta, as a separate subscription.
Still, SBS should hang the head in shame, after their putrid bragging of ‘free broadcasting’, 4 miserable delayed games, given for free by other TV’s.

I agree 100% Hummel. It’s very poor and the fact they have been promoting that they will show 4 games delayed and 4 lives is another joke. The 4 games delayed will be shown 2 days later. That’s not delayed that’s a replay. Where in 2012 not in 1950.

Just realised how poor euro 2012 coverage will be on SBS. Nothing on fox either, its setanta or nothing!!! We are talking about the biggest football event outside the WC! What a shame! And SBS dare say that they are ‘covering the event’!??? Utter disrespect of all football fans living in the country, thats what it is.

foxtel is the killer of australian football,
because of these mugs there’s no free to air socceroos,Aleague not to mention euro 2012…how’s the sport supposed to grow in this country.
sbs is turning into a complete joke as well,
showing a handful of games delayed by 2 days isnt something to brag about…i’m particulary disgusted with that old goat les murray and his puppet sidekick fozzie…pair of wally’s those two
