The Brisbane Global Rugby Tens is a global rugby tens tournament held each year at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium.
Two editions have been played so far; the inaugural tournament in 2017 and another in 2018.
Unfortunately, the 2019 edition of the Global Tens has been cancelled due to the World Cup adversely affecting player availability.
The future of the competition is uncertain, with fans and analysts repeatedly criticising the decision to host a rugby tournament during the unforgiving heat of February in Queensland.
