Sweden has trounced England 4-2 overnight in their international friendly that will be remembered for the individual brilliance of Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

‘Ibra’ scored four goals for his national team, each one showing off a different range of skills – quick thinking and power, control and finesse, long range striking from a dead-ball, and finally, a freakish and audacious bicycle kick from some 30m out.

Sweden were celebrating the opening of their brand new national stadium, and came from behind to beat England.

As well as the Swedish captain becoming the first player to score at the new Friends Arena, he struck three times in the final 15 minutes following goals from England’s Danny Welbeck and debutant Steven Caulker.
