Faber UFC132UFC has put together a stacked card for UFC 132and despite the BJ Penn vs Jon Fitch match being scratched, the card holds some very entertaining fights, featuring the bantam-weight title fight between Urijay Faber and Dominick Cruz.

I am really excited to see Faber in action in the main event.

The ‘California Kid’ was a fan favourite in the WEC and is set to bring this to the UFC.

Since losing to featherweight title holder, Jose Aldo, Urijah has dropped to the bantam-weight division and is now fighting Dominick Cruz for the title, a fighter he has previously beaten.

I also cannot wait to see Ryan Bader (TUF 8 winner) back in action.

As stated on his website, he was very disappointed with his effort against Jon Jones and is hot favourite to get back in the winners circle when he faces former light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz (who should have retired three years ago).

Of course, we cannot go past George Sotiropoulos in his match-up against Dos Anjos. The Australian wants to get back into the title hunt after losing to Dennis Siver in Sydney.

Dos Anjos has the same thing on his mind after losing to number one contender Clay Guida in his last fight. This is set to be a battle on the ground, with both being superior BJJ artists. But I do see Sots finishing the fight.

The guy is just so motivated.

Another fight that is of interest is the return of MMA legend Wanderlei (The Axe Murderer) Silva against Chris Leben.

Everyone thinks Silva is too old for it, but I can see this being a bloody war with both fighters staying in the pocket and banging. This is my tip for fight of the night.

Last but not least, catch Melvin Guillard in action. After moving to Greg Jackson’s gym in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Melvin has gone 4 and 0 and will be in serious title contention if he can put away Shane Roller.

Fight Predictions:
Urijah Faber to beat Dominick Cruz by submission
Wanderlei Silva to beat Chris Leben by decision
Ryan Bader to beat Tito Ortiz by TKO
Melvin Guillard to beat Shane Roller by KO
George Sotiropoulos to beat Rafael Dos Anjos by submission
