HOW TO LISTEN TO THE CRICKET ONLINE AND ON RADIO
In what is sure to be a compelling and emotional match, there are still a great many questions still to be answered:
How aggressively will Australia play? Can India bounce back from their last disastrous tour Down Under? Is Clarke fit enough, mentally or physically to perform?
While Australia’s UAE tour against Pakistan left a lot of the viewing public in the dark, this time you’re spoiled for choice – so we’ve put together a comprehensive guide to keep up to date with the match whether you’re at the office, in the car or the comfort of your lounge room.
TV:
As always, Channel Nine’s Wide World of Sports has the rights for the summer of cricket.
The Channel Nine commentary team (sans Benaud) will be starting their coverage in Adelaide from 10:30am AEDT with the first ball to be bowled at 11:00am AEDT. For South Australians, that’s 10:30am local time.
Radio:
If you think Tubby and co do their best work when muted – you can tune in to Terry Alderman, Geoff Lawson, Jim Maxwell and Damien Fleming on ABC Grandstand.
They’ll be on-air from 10:30am AEDT and you can tune in on your respective frequency across Australia.
If you want to tune in online or via the Cricket Australia app, you will need an Australian Cricket Family account where you will have the option of listening to ABC Radio Grandstand or the Fairfax Radio coverage.
Note that you won’t be able to stream the cricket coverage from the Fairfax radio or Grandstand websites, so don’t even try! Cricket Australia website is the one to go to.
Online:
If you have a Cricket Australia live pass you can stream every ball on mobile, tablet and desktop.
But of course, if you want the best of the best – The Roar will have a live blog and highlights for every day of every game.
Social Media:
For regular updates and highlights, you can follow Cricket Australia, here; or ESPN Cricinfo, here. Of course, The Roar will be calling it too.
But, if you enjoy cricket coverage reimagined as obnoxious American baseball commentary, follow the always-hilarious US Cricket guy, here.
Happy watching!
