Cricket World Cup Final: How to watch Australia vs New Zealand on TV, streaming, and radio

The 2015 Cricket World Cup Final pits an undefeated New Zealand side up against the most successful team in the tournament’s history, Australia, with the action kicking off at the MCG from 2:30pm (AEDT).

To make sure you can absorb every ball The Roar has compiled a complete guide to watching the game on TV, streaming online and listening on radio.

New Zealand and South Africa put on one of the greatest ODI games of all time on Tuesday night as the Black Caps qualified for their first World Cup Final. Then Michael Clarke’s men cruised to the final with a comfortable win against India on Thursday.

Today, the trans-Tasman rivalry will reach new heights as New Zealand aim to knock off the Australians on their home turf and claim their maiden World Cup crown – this is how you can stay up to date with every ball, no matter where you are in the country.

Australia vs India – Sunday 29th March – 2:30pm AEDT – Melbourne Cricket Ground

TV

Breathe easy, the game will be available on free-to-air.

Channel 9 will be broadcasting the match in its entirety, with coverage starting at 1:30pm AEDT – one hour before the first ball is bowled.

Foxtel will also be broadcasting the game over on Fox Sports 3 (Channel 503).

Like Channel 9, their pre-game coverage will kick off at 1:30pm AEDT with the live match broadcast starting at 2:30pm.

The commentary teams will be the same, so no bonus points (aside from the HD factor) for watching on Foxtel.

RADIO

The semi-final will be broadcast live on ABC local radio (find your frequency here) as well as on ABC Grandstand Digital and the ABC Radio App.

The Cricket Australia website and app will have a live radio stream available for all Australian Cricket Family members.

The only legitimate streaming option is via Foxtel Go, but The Roar will be live blogging the the game with live scores and highlights after the game.
