The Wallabies are scheduled to battle Wales in a match to determine the winner of Pool A in the 2015 Rugby World Cup on Sunday October 11 at 2:45am AEDT.

In local time, the match will take place on Saturday October 10 at 4:45pm, at Twickenham Stadium in London.

The match will be televised live both free-to-air on channel GEM and via Foxtel on Fox Sports 2 (channel 502).

GEM’s coverage will begin at 2:30am AEDT, and run through till the finish of the game, expected to finish around 4:45am AEDT.

Fox Sports 2’s coverage is more extensive, beginning with pre-game at 2:20am AEDT and also providing a half-hour of post-game coverage, expected to conclude at 5:15am AEDT.

Both sides are locked in to make the quarter-finals of the 2015 Rugby World Cup, regardless of the final match result.

Australia and Wales are both undefeated and this will be the last match of the pools stage for both teams.

They are both comfortably ahead of England, who will likely record a win against Uruguay, but are too far behind Australia and Wales to overtake either.

At the moment, Australia and Wales both have 13 match points each, making this match a battle for the top of the table in Pool A before the quarter-finals begin.

The loser of the match is certain to face South Africa in a quarter-final, as they cannot possibly drop from the top of Pool B in the remaining matches.

The winner of the match will face either Scotland or Japan in a quarter-final, depending on the results of Samoa vs Scotland and USA vs Japan.

The winner will also have a more abstract reward, going into their quarter-final match-up with the confidence that comes from knowing they are so far undefeated in the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

If the two sides should draw the match, the Wallabies will most likely finish on top of Pool A, as they currently have the greater points differential advantage, a fact which of course could not change in the event of a draw.

Of course, if there were to be a draw in which Wales recorded four tries for a bonus point but Australia didn’t, then Wales would finish on top.

The Wallabies are the favourites heading into the match, listed at $1.35 to win with betting agencies, while Wales are listed at $3.30.
