The Hammers have been a side that has gotten close to the top four, but dropped off when the race started to heat up. A Champions League position would be huge for West Ham, and a win over English giants Chelsea would be a brilliant start to their season.

On form, Chelsea can beat any side. If they can take their pre-season positives into their opening Premier League fixture, they will get the job done, but it won’t be easy.
