Good stuff Ben. I was one of those who criticized Cummins but boy he proved me wrong and he grew as a captain through the tournament. Cum dog came good when it matters. I think this is our best limited overs victory ever. So many adversities but they showed so much heart. India were poor to leave the pres ceremony and the crowds equally unsporting. But who cares we are world champs!!

Starc looks just soft. He looks soft for a big fast bowler which was not the case last two WCs. Does not feel as if he really wants to compete and win. I saw him laughing with opposition players and just being meh when getting hit. Too bad Warney isnt around to give him an earful like before.

True but they should allow as much chance as possible for Jhye to recover. He is a better ODI bowler (perhaps Test too) than Hoff. Actually I would much rather have K Richardson instead of Hoff since Hoff does not have the bag of tricks needed to excel in ODIs. There wont be much swing at all on flat English pitches so I do not see him make any impact.

Maxwell was under used as soon as Clarke retired. Smith either did not believe in him or did not like him. Could be both but cant be neither as to why Maxi was not used. Smith was an appalling captain when it comes to using spinners in ODIs.
