Also just quietly, I would like to give a shout out to one of, in my opinion, absolute champion racehorses in, Fat Al. Hasn’t won since October, and won last week in the Golden Mile. Funny Story my mates Dad who usely drops big money on Fat Al, was away tlast week, haha if only I was able to repeat the conversation when i told him Fat Al had won haha.

How amazing is Ausralias bowling line and depth at the moment.
Harris bowls a great line and length, Siddle has the ability to pick up a wicket out of nothing and will bowl all day, Lyon is great spinner coming into his own by bowling well in partnerships and Johnson is the spearhead, fast, dangerous and a charcater.
Just think that behind them we have Pattinson, Bird, Cummins, Stark and Couternile. Behind them we have Bollinger, Copeland and Sayers.
Even spinners we have competition between Murihead, Boyce and Zampa.
Our depth in our bowling stocks is unreal at the moment, hopefully our batting continues to improve.

He talks about how it was a breeding ground for great cricketers, bringing up the youth and moulding them, mixing that with exerienced hads.
Now its used to just throw youngsters and some blokes who cant cracka shield game.

Just think for a second how much experience Zampa is learning from Botha at the moment. The kid is only 21 years old.
A good apprenticeship under a world class spinner will help his cause!! Botha may not have heaps of years left in him in Australia, so when he leaves Zampa will take the reigns. And its not like we need to rush players either, like Ronan mentioned there are pleanty of spinners around, none outstanding besides Lyon. So its not like he has a massive uphill battle. Give the bloke sometime.

This is basically pushing the smaller nations into a place of no test cricket. The Windies, Pakistan, New Zealand, Bangladesh, all won’t be able to play Test cricket. How many of these countries support grass roots cricket and develop cricket is through funding of tours in their countries. This deal could basically kill off cricket. But is there no way all the member nations stand up to India and say bugger off? We don’t want you, take your ball and go home! If all the players from respective countries stand there ground and dont run to the cash thrown at them, India will want to come back in the circle. Grow a pair ICC.

If a collapse where to happy it would run through the team like a plague, but sill a decent line up.
I like the addition of Khawaja, has a lot more experience then some other blokes tossed around. Wade has been there before so another good pick. Bird and Sayers will fit in well.
Funny though in all the teams Rogers and Lyon are in them all, 2 players who 12 6 months ago were players who may not have been in the test team.

Thats Why I went Whiteman and Burns, although Whiteman is young and maybe not as good a keeper as Hartley, he is up there and can score runs. Burns will be comfortable at 5.

I was tossing up wether to go with Whiteman or Hartley and it came down to I needed another batsman, and it wouldnt hurt it to be Burns has a bit of experience under the belt and looks the goods!
Silky for me is a good pick, maybe just a bit too young at the moment if anything but star of the future.
Left out siddle because even though he is a workhorse I needed that impact a little more.
Sayers is a grear pick, I didnt go for him due to I needed another Bat in Klinger, but great pick mate.

Yea if you worked it like that but I was going off where you are playing state cricket at the moement Gr8r.
It would probably force more plyers to other states, example Dave Warner and Steve Smith would be boarding the plane that quickly.

This is a great move and another big push forward for the A-League.
The past two years have been an Era of the Marquee man, Del Piero, Ono, Heskey, Gallas and Contreras.
All major stars for their respective clubs and have had big careers.
Now we might be entering into an age of Marquee Clubs, Melbourne heart will now be financially stable and im sure the Shiek will be happy to drop a couple of million on a marquee player. Victory, Roar, Sydney and Perth will all be able to keep up to an extent with spending, but this may widen the gap between Adelaide, Central Coast, Wellington and even to a point Newcastle.

Yeah they definately should have given White a crack, he should of atleast made the touring party, same as Bailey.
Even White’s absence from the ODI’s is confusing???
I hope for White’s sake he doesnt get put down the road of Brad Hodge and doesnt get the opportunity to really excell for his country.

Hmm Doherty is not the next in line. He was tried and he just does not go well in longer formats, and he has already been tried in Test Match cricket during the after Warne before Lyon phase. There are pleanty of other younger spinners out there, who suit more the Test arena. Can we not forget we gave a test cap to Ashton Agar??? I know it was an experiment, and it didnt go as planned, but the bloke has a test cap and is young, surely if you were to take a replacement take him!! Even give SOK a bench spot, atleast if he has to play we know he can bat aswell. What about a spinner who has spent pleanty of time carrying the drinks for Australia, give Beer another shout as a backup, I heard he was a H20 specialist. What im trying to point out here is that Doherty is not the test backup answer!!!
