Irony of ironies he was talking about Don Bradman
Cricket Australia's treatment of Michael Clarke has been disgraceful
To be fair to Channel Nine, I’ve rarely heard their cricket commentators referer to Australia as ‘we’
Commentators need to drop the word 'we' from broadcasts
Fuss hate to break it to you but Tyler is working exclusively for SBS this world cup. As I said, I don’t mind a little patriotism as it is understandable but the stuff I’ve heard across the Rugby and Soccer on the weekend was terrible.
Commentators need to drop the word 'we' from broadcasts
I was thinking the exact same thing as you’ve written yesterday. Let’s make racisim not acceptable in all rounds not just one round
Why there should not be a 'No Racism Round' in the AFL
My point was that if football can stem the drop off, it will be in a much better place.
Football's future still murky despite epic 2013
So what I support two sporting codes? Give me a break mate, you do know it is possible to be in love with two sporting codes or does football snob brain only have room for one?
Football's future still murky despite epic 2013
@Fussball ist unser leben
I never got the stats from a copy, someone I know involved with junior development told me this recently. I don’t doubt for a minute that football is not the only one that has a drop off, my point was if it can be addressed football will grow to become the number one game in the country.
Football's future still murky despite epic 2013
Obviously they are not cut of the same cloth as players and coaches, with Malcolm being a legend of the game and Scott Watters being a battler.
I think I made that clear mastermind. It similar because of the manner they were sacked in and the position St Kilda as a club were in. No comparisson of their pedigree as there is a huge gap
Deja Vu? St Kilda has another Malcolm Blight moment
Where is the announcement of Channel Nine’s coverage?
Cricket Australia's consol-'A'-tion prize for the second XI?
They need a big man up forward. Even in the days of the forward press and players playing in every position, the best clubs still have a target man. The Bulldogs only kicked 100+ points last year 4 times and have only done it once this season. You do not win many games when you can’t kick big scores and you can’t kick big scores without having someone to kick it towards
Bulldogs lack bark, bite, and a future
I was just about to write an article on this but you beat me to the punch.
The articles by Darren Jolly have explored some really interesting topics. However any wisdom seems to be negated by a couple of paragraphs that slate people he has come across.
Be bagged Neale Daniher for no reason, he cited Kevin Bartlett’s age as a reason for him to step down when a wiser man would have used many other reasons and then he simply tore apart Josh Fraser. It seems his thoughts are space filler until he gets to bagging someone.
Someone needs to counsel him on this
Jolly's cheap shots are poor form
I am a Crows fan and while bitterly disappointed with the result, it was a great match of football. I believe the Crows need a strong Port Adelaide as much as Port Adelaide need a strong Port side. With two teams playing well, breeds competitiveness rather than complacency -something I fear Adelaide may have been sucked into on the weekend-
Adelaide derby: nobody left at three quarter time
You Queenslanders certainly have a lot to crow about at the moment.
A masterful victory that won't be forgotten
Paul
For most part I totally agree with you. I didn’t want to attack Melanie too much and I apologise to you if I may have gone too far as it was not my intention (Huegill was my main target).
Some swimmers will get paid more it’s a natural fact of living in a capitalist world. However, the money they pumped into Thorpe , Skippy, Libby etc. was a joke. As shown, there was no guarantee that these former stars could recapture their form in such a short time let alone ever again. But SA will probably say they made a few bucks out of it in an attempt to justify the money spent.
If Swimming Australia is behaving in that way through its CEO, he must not be in charge. I believe you need a person who understands an organisation in order to run it which makes it a joke that Neil is in charge. The legal threats seem petty and hopefully the Smith review will force SA to start working with the swimmers association.
Swimming Australia kicking in wrong direction
