Roosters (NRL) QUEENSLANDER! Ravens (NFL) Hornets (NBA) Like most sport but only religiously follow those 3. Been lurking for a while posting comments as my initials. me.

I might be the offseason but a lot has been going on in rugby league over the last few weeks, especially with the international…
Anyone who has followed anything I have posted on this site would know that I am quite happy to make an unpopular statement. However,…
The widespread hatred of Thursday night Football in the NRL started me thinking. If we were in charge, what format would the NRL take?…
Since the news broke of Cronulla players accepting the ASADA bans, many Queensland supporters have saying that this year’s State of Origin series should…
After losing those 3 guys Inglis will get whatever he wants next time he is up for renewal. And so he should. Guy is a freak of nature and one of the bestand most marketable players in the game. If he gets offered $2M to go somewhere else Smith will use his discretionary pile of funds to match imo.
No promises from Inglis over NRL future
Pretty sure you mean over 4 years. not for 4 years.
Fines are not deterring salary cap breaches
It depends on games and what seats etc. same as everything else. But you aren’t getting one for $35 these days.
Can the world game become Australia's Game?
The clubs that only break t by small amounts often do so due to incentives written in contracts and calling people up from outside the 25 to cover for injury.
If we start focusing on those instead of the genuine breaches like the titans and Broncos then the players will be effected more than the clubs. Major breaches deserve fines and stripping of points. With small breaches a fine is sufficient.

Australia has no number one sporting code… In half the country (by population) in winter it is AFL. In the other half it is Rugby League. In summer we watch cricket and/or football. In Olympic years we pretend to be interested in track and field, gymnastics and swimming etc. Australians simply love sport. Unfortunately due to our low population there is a code war. But as of yet no one has won. Infact it seems to be getting closer and closer.
Football rising but Gallop's petty code war continues
At this point it is a stretch to say the Browns are absolutely dismal. Especially when you think they will win 6 or 7 games…
Absolutely dismal is like the Raiders… Or the Redskins when they were starting RG3
Why Manziel shouldn't start this year
Pearce has been in awesome form, Cronk is Cronk…
But those other 3 guys you mentioned aren’t even in the same post code as DCE.
Move along JT, it's time for DCE
DCE is a superstar… Too say otherwise is just dumb… He is no JT but the guy can flat out play.
Move along JT, it's time for DCE
I tend to agree with this, I just think it was more the team structure was built for cronk to excel in. DCE is the best young player in the game IMO, but he can’t go out there and play Cronks game.
In saying that it also seems like many at Manly don’t like DCE, it seems that DCE mostly loves himself and the $$$

Nightingale is nowhere near as good as brett morris.
Foran is a gun though.

I think healthy GI is better than Hayne…
He clearly isn’t healthy though and I imagine he will pull out anyway…
There is a difference between saying you would put him centre and saying you think he isn’t good. In saying that. I have as much chance of playing for the Kangaroos at fullback as Moylan.
Slater's out, so who is the Kangaroos next fullback?
I think you are selling GI short, Give him an offseason to pile that weight back on (if he decided to be a prop) and I could say he could play 1-13. If he felt so inclined inglis would be a great back rower as well. the guy is a fantastic athlete, so is Hayne, Hayne might even be a better RL player. But Inglis is a special athlete on a level Hayne is not.

I think they should give the feed to the team who kicked the ball but not restart the tackle count. Hitting the ref should count as a completed play in the tackle count and restart play with a play the ball where he was hit.
Four questions from the NRL semi-finals
But the pocket referee had called it a knock on. Why would he send it up a try?

Give him a break… Inertia was his word of the day
Gould's commentary was the real travesty
It kind of does though… His job isn’t necessarily to be loved and enjoyed by fans it is to get us all talking. He succeeded
Gould's commentary was the real travesty
Nah Gus still would of whinged. His agenda is against the refs not the Bulldogs…
Was a deadset knock-on though. no doubt.
Gould's commentary was the real travesty
The fact that if Waqa didn’t score it would play on is a problem with the game. Not a good thing.
Gould's commentary was the real travesty
Like I said. as a whole the refereeing was definitely not the worst we have seen this season.
But there was a few choice moments were the referee’s made critical mistakes that directly influenced the direction was headed in.
The incorrect call on the Casty try resulted in a penalty. Before the Roosters had touched the ball again I am fairly certain Penrith went down the field and put points on the board.
Following the SBW strip that was incorrectly ruled a knock-on the Roosters scored.
Two incorrect decisions had a massive influence on the outcome of that game.
Are we too quick to blame the refs?
While I agree with you that you don’t get an advantage during the finals series…
The teams with their own ground have a huge advantage during the regular season. Every team with their own stadium, other than the bottom 3 (who were just awful everywhere) were better at home than they were on the road. NQ and Manly had an 11-1 record at home. I would say atleast partly due to not being a team that shares their stadium. Why is this not considered? in these discussions. If it is not fair on you in the finals how is it fair to everyone else during the regular season.
Teams sharing the best stadiums is happening. You have to use the best facilities available. Brookvale isn’t one of them.
There's no point finishing second if you can't play at home
Nothing he said about the McKinnon event was out of line. It was no worse a tackle than many others you see. Just a lot of bad luck…
The NRL's best and worst captains
Damn Those Sith!
May the force be with you 😉
Is Cam Smith still the best hooker in the NRL?
