NSW were terrible in the 2nd half they hardly got over the half way line for the entire 40 minutes.When they did for a brief foray they scored a try.But of course it was all too late at that stage.As far as I know when you pass the ball make sure the receiver is in sight than pass the ball not pass the ball than hope the receiver is near you.That intercept pass cost us the game it has happened before and will probably occur again.

I think changes need to be made Crearly was hardly sighted all game.Mitchell Pearce is in great form at the moment and could be given another chance to be in a winning Blues team.Also,James Maloney also offers the experience and creativity we lacked in last nights game.
I would like to know from the coach Fittler why David Klemmer ,our best forward, was left on the bench for most of the second half, I suspect he may have a niggling injury.

I have been watching State of Origin since the first match back in 1980.I think interest is starting to wane year by year especially since the Maroons lost their 4 star players and the series last year.Wait until the Maroons lose 2 or 3 series in a row their fans will desert their team big time.State of Origin is unnecessary and a burden on the league clubs and the coaches.The AFL got rid of it years ago and I say well done guys why put your players through 3 matches where they can be badly injured.
Channel 9 and its commentators will keep pushing Origin down our throats of course with good ratings their is heaps of advertising revenue for them.The sooner the NRL cancels Origin the better though this is unlikely to happen at present .However, lets have a look at the situation in 2 years time you never know what may happen.

No, Hunt ran into Klemmer and fell over just like a Neymar soccer dive.That gave the crap ref an excuse to deny our great try.What was the penalty count 8-3 Maroons way I think I heard just to give King Slater a good send off.We did make a few errors at critical times like pressing their line and making a stupid pass gave them 6 points like in previous game.Maloneys worst game ever, Klemmer as usual our best forward always going forward and good in defence.Cordner had average game leading from the front .Tedesco tried hard all night but without the ball what could he do.
Just heard on radio that Slater made Man of the Match and Man of the Series.What a joke he missed Game 1 and on LOSING side.When you hear that Lockyer,Meninga and Daley make the award what else would you expect.Good on you Blues we won series and I hope I never see Slater in the series again.

This wasa hard fought match and I am glad 1 team scored France so no need for a penalty shoot out.Did not see much of the first half when goal scored but in second half Belguim doing really well and pressing the French line nearly all the time just missing to goal a few times.The French goalie played well and made some superb saves.As our noted SBS commentators Lucy,David and Craig said at the end France played well enough to win and progress to
the final.

It was hard to see on tv despite replays of the incident.Apparently something happened Neymar may have overacted that is now part of the game and adds to the drama.Nobody would like to have their ankle trodden on break it and you will be sidelined for months.I think from memory the Mexican player was not even penalised Neymar just told to get up and resume play.The ref was on the spot however he chose to ignore the foul play.I have seen plenty of matches in this world cup and lots of refs choosing to ignore foul play like shirt grabbing and wrestling each other many fouls in the penalty box in set plays

I am not a journalist but I think Coach Bert did a good job as a stand in coach because Angie decided to quit and leave us for whatever reason.I cannot relate completely to your comments and Craig Fosters numerous lectures about strategy and culture of course all agreed to by Lucy Zelic like yes Craig you are right.Where is Bozza and Robbie Slater when you need them their commentary on Foxtell always to the point and interesting.Fozzy says we must become more attacking from the start of play but I see nothing wrong with being conservative/ defensive 1st 10 minutes.Than hit the opposition on the counterattack when confidence up like we did against France game 1 nearly had a draw.Our problem like many world teams is the lack of a finisher. Tims days now over thank you for the effort we all enjoyed your skillful play.

Exremely disappointing end to a hard fought campaign from the Socceroos We played hard in 3 games just needed a bit of luck and things to go our way.Yes not a win achieved our lack of finishing in the penalty area our perennial problem now Tim Cahill more than likelly gone into retirement.Coach Bert has done a competent job and his tactics in Game 3 could hardly be better.Perus first goal probably offside I have not seen replay it was always going to be difficult especially when we conceded goal 2.In summary Peru had a few chances and finished them off our shots went high or wide.We have scored 2 goals only in 3 matches these from penalty kicks not open play.I have no idea what Craig Foster means when he talks about improving team culture I prefer the more direct commentary from Craig Moore.So it is back to the drawing board for Socceroos we have 4 years to make what ever improvements necessary.

Klemmer was playing well in 1st half perhaps he had an injury they wanted to keep quiet.Those last 10 minutes were the most exciting and scarey I can remember fantastic that we held them out and claimed series.

Maroons cannot accept the fact that they were beaten by a better team, the Blues, in Sog1 and Sog2.So stop moaning about refs decision go home to Qld find a corner to sit in and have a cry.The Blues are back and we should win Game 3 and make it a clean sweep.Our best players Cordner,Cleary,Maloney,Mitchell and Tedesco.In fact all of our players rose to another level and had to, with Maroons being a constant danger with Slater and Inglis spurring them on.

Think this game will be very similar to game 1.Sides will close at half time with Blues in front by 5 points.We will dominate 2nd half and win by 10-15 points.Tedesco,Maloney and Cleary will have terrific games after our forwards dominate down the middle.Incisive runs by Cordner,Klemmer and Fizell will set the pace of our domination.Tedesco to score first try and 2 more he will be man of the match.Go the Blues oi oi oi

Robbie has been playing the same way for years now very average and I do not remember when he last scored a goal.He tries hard however he is not a striker he is better at defending or staying in the midfield and assisting Aaron Mooy.In the penalty area he is a bit slow in transition and his shots are poorly placed. HIs tackling below par and he often makes an error turning the ball over to the opposition.I have nothing against him personally but the Coach must do what is best for the Soceroos.Of course It would be better to start with Arzani he is young,fast with great attacking skills.I am sure before very long an overseas club will make him an offer he will not refuse so goodbye to the A League.I still think Tim Cahill ,our greatest player ever, should come on the field in last 20 minutes and be a game breaker. Tim may be 38 years but he is fit and knows how to put the ball into the back of the net.I would like to know why Coach Bert has not used him I am sure Angie would have him on the field.

Big competent forwards win big matches like this.Pity Campbell Gillard out with injury he was really good in game 1.We still have great forwards with Klemmer,Cordner,Frizell and De belin.It will not be easy true but we will bash them down the middle than spread the ball out to our speedy backs like Tedesco and Crealy like 2nd half game 1.With home crowd advantage, competent and experienced coach Brad Fittler we should win by over 10 points and win series.Memo to Maloney watch your passes give nothing away to Kevs Maroons.
