May I copy and paste your comment Pat? If the Titans are travelling well after 12 or so weeks, you’ll probably go missing or occupy your time naysaying some other club.
All I have written here is that proper credit has not been given to a team that faced enormous obstacles before the season began.
I did not suggest they’ll be world beaters.
Titans lead the comp, so where's the love from the media?
Not sure if Tyrone Roberts is fit to play. Ditto big Ryan.
Friday will be a severe test.

The club has cash in reserve. Don’t be surprised if there are some high quality additions in the next 12 months.

It’s not only physcal fitness NateD. You’ve got to be mentally strong not to switch off in an 80 minute NRL game.
Lapse for a minute or two and the other mob scores on you more often than not.
Shaun Johnson’s brutal self assessment could ignite Warriors' season
Some athletes motivate themselves with public statements.
To each his own. We’ll see how he fares on Monday.
Shaun Johnson’s brutal self assessment could ignite Warriors' season
Well, at least we know that HE knows improvement is needed.
A good start.

Disagree Maxi. I think all of the ingredients are there this season but the Warriors have yet to learn that RL games go for 80 minutes.
If the effort is put in for 80, they can achieve big things.
Anything less, well …. We’ve seen it plenty of times.
Shaun Johnson’s brutal self assessment could ignite Warriors' season
The sooner that switch is made, the better, Maxi.
He feels at home with the seven on his back, that’s when the sparks fly.
I’m guessing Johnson is still getting things right in the head after suffering that major injury.
He’s talking tough. That’s got to be a good sign. Look out Knights!

Nup, this twerp is probably too busy preening himself in the mirror or insulting someone on court, or in social media. A very slow learner.
Can play tennis, but very hard to like – I struggle to send a good word in his direction and wish he represented another country.
I fancy Day to win The Masters with Spieth, Scott, Danny Willett and Hideki Matsuyama also strong contenders at big odds.
Another Day, another win: Jason picks up where Adam Scott left off
He needed to summon up Dutch courage to land that winning kick.
Hasler's clutch decision seals Bulldogs win
Nerval, I thought Shane Richardson would have been a good choice but he isn’t a contender.
I have worked under Warren Wilson’s leadership and I think he would be an excellent choice.
Can you predict the rugby league headline acts in 2016?
It would never come to that. Surely?
Can you predict the rugby league headline acts in 2016?
And I forgot to mention, Muzz, The ancient video you so brilliantly dug up featured many North Sydney Bears.
Bring those Bears back – and we won’t need a marketing department or a new, whiz-bang TV commercial. LOL.
NRL marketing is a myth in the code’s administrative madness
Congratulations, Russ.
Nobody has ever been able to get away with ‘perspicacious’ on this site ever before.
You and me should have a crossword shootout sometime soon!
It will be as subtle as the proverbial . . .
NRL marketing is a myth in the code’s administrative madness
And I suppose the yes men will try to trump them on sporting websites.
NRL marketing is a myth in the code’s administrative madness
Next time, Russ, I promise to type more slowly.
NRL marketing is a myth in the code’s administrative madness
Hey Crosscoder: Pointless marketing late Jan or early Feb?
Really?
That is the time when the 16 RL clubs are DESPERATE to attract more numbers.
It is a time when many Aussie sports fans have had a gut-full of cricket.
Sounds like the perfect time to float (flog?) your boat to me.
NRL marketing is a myth in the code’s administrative madness
One hundred per cent Agent – but what have we league fans got over the last four months? Nothing. Zippo. Nada.
Is there anything wrong with a summer RL campaign that is ultimately trumped by the Real McCoy New Season promo?
I think not.
RL marketing is wallowing in the dark ages.
And I have been saying that for the past two and a half decades.
NRL marketing is a myth in the code’s administrative madness
Muzz — I thank you as well. Goosebumps from moi.
Watched it halfa doz times – and probably many more to come! This RL advert made the AFL guys green with envy.
It was engineered by one of the best sports promoters I have known: Mr Graham Lovett.
It worked and it worked big time.
Tina Turner is available – you’d think.
Ask her for a reprise, no harm in that. She genuinely loved doing that promo and said so.
A clever re-creation with (Tina) and the modern music stars would be a sure-fire hit but no, that’s way too clever.
So why not ask Taylor Swift or some such guru to help out the rugby league code for an agreed price?
It is not rocket science – what works, works.
It’s orthodox marketing or, as they say, marketing 101.
Hello rugby league? Hello?
NRL marketing is a myth in the code’s administrative madness
There is a J Thurston-themed commercial about to go to air on TV but for mine, it’s a month too late.
NRL marketing is a myth in the code’s administrative madness
I am sticking with my guns. I believe the League has had time enough to appoint a new leader and one would ideally have been in place for the season opening.
Perhaps they had a candidate lined up and it all fell through, but I doubt it.
Thanks guys for your (contrary) views.
NRL marketing is a myth in the code’s administrative madness
Any credit would be a reasonable start.
