Passionate Footballer, who also loves watching cricket. Favorite Club would be Torino in the Serie A followed by Newcastle United, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid.

Hearing that the Saint (Saint-Maximin) left Etienne has left me depressed for the remainder of today. That was a glorious Football Manager save.

Monaco turn splurge into profit

Just hoping for a great match, best of luck to both.

The amount these two have to make for us to be in with even a ghost of a chance is ridiculous.

New kids on the block: The Premier League’s star recruits

Midtjylland is a great club with some very promising youngsters, it’ll definitely serve as a springboard into the upper European Leagues his biggest problem though will be cracking the First Team.

Mabil signs with Danish Club

I went and despite the game not being the best of affairs I enjoyed it, why I did was for the opportunity to see Totti before he retires as he’s long been one of my favorite players. Even if it was 30 minutes it was incredible seeing how skilled he was on the ball. Every touch, every pass was inch perfect and those 30 minutes stood out as incredibly for me.

Will I go see it in Aus again? Probably not but I still loved watching it last night

Tomic did not attack Pat Rafter in his speech

“People think I’m at war with Pat Rafter. It’s not true. Pat is a nice guy.”

What he did say, was Pat Rafter has a job that Pat Rafter doesn’t even understand. TO the extent that Tennis Australia keeps handing Pat Rafter a budget in which they don’t tell him what to use it on. Instead of supporting his sister they instead used funds to attract eastern European prospects in the form of Daria Gavrilova and Ajla Tomljanovic. Alongside a lack of funding towards just Sara Tomic a number of Australian Prospects have been lured away due to a lack of support by Tennis Australia Akira Santillan and Brydan Klein are just a few in recent years.

Instead of showing how his claims are false TA have just banned him in public and called them untrue without providing any evidence that they are false, nor are we likely to see any such evidence despite the fact they are a public institution. The answer lies in the fact that it was Bernard Tomic who made the claims and the majority of Australians dislike him so they’ll get away without having to address these claims out of pure disregard for the person who made them.

As for why he used this press conference from the very first round when he was asked about it he told the press he’d answer any questions the moment he was knocked out, until then he was focusing on Wimbledon. He was knocked out so he answered the questions.

Meanwhile Nick Kyrgios isn’t the first tennis player to dislike tennis. Agassi hated it for the majority of his career as did Safin.

An open letter to Bernard Tomic and Nick Kyrgios

Cilic will make a deep run in my opinion, backing Murray for the win though,

EPL has never been the ‘Best’ league, it’s historically been the most competitive which has earned it the title of most entertaining but entertainment isn’t dominance. I feel people have never made this distinction and the name has just stuck.

England Sides and Italian Sides have both won the CL, distinctive of being held by Europe’s ‘best’ team 12 times, with Spain having the record at 14.

But even then, no league in the world has ever been truly ‘dominant’ with the exception of Italy, from 89-98 CL 9/10 finals had Italian sides, that’s never been close to being replicated apart from Spain when the CL first started before global transfers etc; became the norm.

Today no league is close to outright being the best, Germany was the best league in the world in 2013 as was Spain in 2014, both nations also had both finalists in the CL final that year but that’s coincidental/not because their leagues were phenomenal in those years, at the moment Italy, Spain, England and Germany aren’t distinct from each other, there’s no way to say this league is better than that one and historically it’s never been the case either.

I’d say it’s partly Britain’s Empire Complex but the rest of the world has seemingly always claimed it but that’s because coverage of the EPL is so easy to access compared to other nations leagues.

Why this EPL season was the worst yet

If a team scores in the first half of ET then at Half-time the game is called.

If no team has scored onto the second half, then onto penalties.

If you were a football dictator, how would you change the game?

Still no mate haha

For example you run outside the six yard box to stop a shot, only to have it barreled straight to your chest.

Do you a) Try and palm it away with no force behind the attempt to appropriately shift the ball, therefore it will simply fall in the area and let the attacker strike again or b) try to stop a shot with your chest and try to clear it away?

Or a shots straight at a players foot, are they simply meant to kick the ball away? Or use their hand to stop it and then try and get to a standing position to clear it in the same time an offensive players bears down on them?

Then you create the “Was he out of his box or not out of his box?” conundrum which has been a subject of goalscoring for years until the advent of the goal line rule technology.

The goalkeeper is the one role which is quite honestly perfect and as you said has recently been evolving into a more technical area and shunning away from it’s original purpose which was to simply stop the ball going into the back of the net. Higuita, Neuer, Van Der Sar have all revolutionised the position and created styles for players to replicate, there is no change you can make to goalkeeping which wouldn’t create hell for the players who play there. Having to eternally judge whether they’re on their six yard line whilst co-ordinating a defense and midfield, whilst trying to prepare for a shot, whilst also judging whether or not to run out and try to ‘block’ the shot is the best decision would quite literally drive people insane.

If you were a football dictator, how would you change the game?

So Goalkeepers cannot come out for crosses or off their line to save a shot?

Speaking as a goalkeeper, and I’m going to assume you aren’t, if you are then apologies, but 6 Yard Only largely removes the advantages the goalkeeper can create in positioning/angles/ and negatively impacts his distribution skills etc;

The advantage in coming off your line outside the 6 yard box to appropriately cut off the angles and intimidate the player is a core aspect of keeping, it creates the illusion of a far greater presence. If you’re standing in the 6 yard box that angle is revoked and you’re stuck paralyzed in the middle whilst the player runs forward to willing bash it into a corner of their own choosing

You’d create Football into and increasingly defensive and direct game due to the backline having to drop even deeper to receive the ball.

If you were a football dictator, how would you change the game?

As a Torino fan, I’m surprisingly rooting for Juve partly out of my hatred for Barca and a desire to see Italian Football win something.

ReJUVEnated: The Serie A has silenced the doubters

The transfer everyone is concerned about though, is whether Williamson will finally leave Newcastle. Biggest question of the summer.

Transfers we could see come July

I agree Rellum, also doubt any club will catch Napoli, will most assuredly stay in 5th bar a complete collapse from them or someone in front.

Italian stallions: Which clubs will qualify for the Europa League?

Think those will only take effect at the end of 15/16 won’t they SM?

Been a great year for Italy with all the clubs bar Inter punching doing much better than expected. Juve winning the ECL would be massive for the league as well.
