Vancouver Whitecaps player Masato Kudo was instantly knocked unconscious after a big collision with goalkeeper Matt Lampson in Major League Soccer.
Both goalkeeper and striker went for the ball and the accidental hip and shoulder looked brutal in full speed.
Medics took their time to make sure Kudo hadn’t suffered any serious injuries. He eventually regained consciousness and was able to sit up before being carted off the field.
The Whitecaps went on to defeat the Chicago Fire 2-1.
