There’s been loud whispers going around early this morning that Wallabies coach, Robbie Deans, will step aside at the completion of the Rugby Championship and take up the vacant coaching position at the NSW Waratahs.

The speculation has been fuelled by a radio interview with former Wallaby Jeremy Paul on Radio Sports New Zealand this morning, where he told host Tony Veitch that it was highly likely that Deans would be moved on from his current role and back into Super Rugby with the Waratahs.

Deans is not quitting Wallabies: David Lord

He previously enjoyed considerable success with the Crusaders.

Apparently, Deans enjoys life in Sydney and doesn’t want to return home to New Zealand at this point.

Paul suggests that Ewen McKenzie will come in and replace Deans as coach of the Wallabies.
