Holger Osieck has named his side for the Socceroos’ crucial upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Japan, Jordan and Iraq.

Skipper Lucas Neill returns into the starting lineup from suspension, while Josh Kennedy, Sasa Ognenovski and Mitch Langerak also come back into the frame after various absences.

The 26-man squad contains seven A-League players, with Dario Vidosic receiving his first Socceroos call-up during Osieck’s reign, joining Australian-based players Jade North, Michael Thwaite, Mark Milligan, Archie Thompson, Eugene Galekovic and Ivan Franjic in the squad.

The Socceroos currently sit third in Group B with six points, one point behind Jordan, who currently occupy the second automatic qualifying spot.

After meeting in camp next week they’ll head to Saitama to meet Japan on June 4, before returning to Australia to play Jordan at Etihad Stadium on June 11, and Iraq at ANZ Stadium on June 18.
