Everything is set up for a juicy and feisty encounter tonight when the Melbourne Victory welcome A-League leaders Brisbane Roar to AAMI Park. We’ll have live scores and commentary from 7.45pm AEDT.

After this last week’s controversy surrounding fan behavior, and the suspended three-point deduction for Melbourne Victory, they will be looking for a positive turn of changes and continue their dominance over the Roar.

These two sides have played 25 times, with Victory edging out on 11 wins, with six draws taking place.

While Roar are experiencing a great season thus far, and are looking to extending their lead on the top of the table.

The Queensland side are coming into this fixture on the back of four wins out of five, while Melbourne have drawn two, lost one and won two of their last five fixtures.

Gui Finkler seems to the be the man of the moment in the A-League.

His super sub Solskjaer-like appearances have warmed him to all supporters of the league, and again he seems odds-on to be the game-changer tonight.

The ins-outs for tonight fixture continues on recent weeks, Archie Thompson continues to remain on the sidelines while Rashid Mahazi and Nick Ansell are back into the starting squad.

For Brisbane Shane Stefanutto, Besart Berisha and George Lambadardis miss out through injury, while hat-trick hero – Dimitri Petratros looks set to keep his place in the starting XI.

The dark cloud that hangs over this fixture is the continued disunity within the Victory club, with supporters still fuming over the boards treatment of their NT supporters, and their is a angered atmosphere amongst all fans.

It will be interesting to see how the atmosphere will be tonight.

Prediction
Going for a MV win, 2-1 I say. Gui Finkler to be lauded as the special one, once again.
