Hot

He displayed his ability to get into attacking position. He also had a pass accuracy of 83 per cent completing 35 of his 42 passes.
Ola Toivonen: Stepped up when his team needed him most, inspiring his side to a derby win while carrying an injury for most of the game. Scoring two goals from his three shots inside the box, he was an accurate finisher.
Diego Castro: Scored two and assisted two in his side’s dominant performance. Scored the opening goal of the game which helped set the tone for his side. Was accurate by foot with 35 of his 42 passes finding a target (83 per cent pass accuracy).
Milan Djuric: Scored one of the goals of the season which put his side in front and ensured his side took all three points. His 86 per cent pass accuracy emphasising his efficiency put foot successful making 31 of his 36 passes.
Cold
Jamie Maclaren: After starting the season hot, Maclaren went nearly unnoticed the game against the Victory. Though he had two shots for the game he struggled to trouble the Victory defence and will be looking to bounce back and rediscover his hot form.
Newcastle Jets: Didn’t put up much of a fight in the second half when the going got tough. The Jets managed to stay competitive with the Glory, but once the Glory got on top there was no stopping the floodgates which resulted in their heaviest defeat of the season, losing 6-2.
