Swansea City will be looking to climb back up the ladder when they host league leaders Chelsea. Join us The Roar from 1:30am (AEDT) for live scores and commentary of this exciting English Premier League fixture.

Swansea City haven’t been able to gain three points from a Premier League game since Boxing Day, and despite the departure of star striker Wilfred Bony, manager Garry Monk is confident in his side’s current prospects up front.

Swansea were fortunate to salvage a point in their last fixture against West Ham United, with Mark Noble’s unfortunate own goal gifting the Swans a point.

Monk’s side will take on Chelsea without the injured Jefferson Montero, the suspended Jonjo Shelvey and Ki Sung-yueng, who is away on international duty at the Asian Cup with South Korea.

Despite coming off an impressive win against the first team to beat them this season, Newcastle United, Chelsea will be looking to improve on their recently poor away-record when they travel to the Liberty Stadium.

Jose Mourinho’s men have won just one of their last five away fixtures, however hold an impressive record against Swansea in the Premier League, having never lost to the Swans in seven fixtures (five wins and two draws).

The blue lions will also be boosted by the return of goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who spent the Newcastle fixture on the bench due to a finger injury.

The last time these two sides faced off was back in September, where a Diego Costa hat-trick helped Chelsea to a 4-2 win against the Swans, in what was a highly entertaining fixture at Stamford Bridge.
