Have to take what you can get as a back! Rob Valetini earnt the bragging rights as the Brumbies beat the Drua 28-20.
The Brumbies have suffered a major blow with Wallabies back Matt Toomua ruled out of Friday’s crucial Super Rugby clash with the Bulls.
Toomua injured his knee in last weekend’s loss to the Highlanders in Invercargill and will be replaced at inside centre by Robbie Coleman for the match at GIO Stadium.
The Brumbies, however, welcome back Wallabies Stephen Moore, Scott Sio and Ben Alexander to their front-row, with lock Rory Arnold returning to the run-on side and James Dargaville getting his first start on the wing with Joe Tomane still sidelined with an injured knee.
Brumbies side to face the Bulls:
Aidan Toua, Nigel Ah Wong, Tevita Kuridrani, Robbie Coleman, James Dargaville, Christian Lealiifano (c), Tomas Cubelli, Jarrad Butler, David Pocock, Scott Fardy, Sam Carter, Rory Arnold, Ben Alexander, Stephen Moore (c), Scott Sio. Reserves: Josh Mann-Rea, Allan Alaalatoa, Ruan Smith, Tom Staniforth, Blake Enever, Jordan Smiler, Joe Powell, Lausii Taliauli.
