The Waratahs are Australia’s only hope in the eight teams contesting in the Super Rugby finals. Will they bounce back from last week’s loss to the Brumbies to progress through or will the Highlanders knock Daryl Gibson’s men out of the playoffs?
This is The Roar’s guide to streaming the match online and watching it on TV.
The Waratahs were out-enthused in their last-start defeat to the Brumbies.
While the 40-31 loss was disappointing, the New South Welshmen can take confidence out of the fact that they belted the Highlanders 41-12 in their last meeting with the New Zealand-based side.
Meanwhile, the Highlanders denied the Rebels their first-ever finals appearance after a 43-37 comeback win.
The match will be played at Allianz Stadium on Saturday, July 21 at 8.05pm (AEST).
The only place you can catch this Saturday night’s final on TV is Fox Sports channel 501.
Coverage begins with a pre-game show at 7.30pm (AEST). There will also be a dissection of the match following the final whistle, which is scheduled to wrap up at 10pm.
To watch the coverage on Fox Sports, you need a valid Foxtel TV subscription, including the sports package.
If you want to tune into the game online, you will also need to do so through one of Foxtel’s dedicated streaming applications.m
The first option is the Foxtel App, which is the better choice if you already have a TV subscription. As long as you have a valid login, it will be free to use and download.
If you don’t have a TV subscription to Foxtel, the other alternative is Foxtel Now. You will have to pay for this service though, with the sports package starting at $55 a month.
