Social media reaction to Mitchell Pearce's drunken night out
Agreed, he did a stupid thing and tarnished the club’s reputation. But it was not the crime of the century. A month suspension and fine and let’s move on.
Sack or suspension: Lewd act to cost Mitchell Pearce dearly
Well said Freddy, a huge beat up here given the incident versus the public reaction. Mitch needs to grow up and stay off the piss andf the rest of Australia needs to get a sense of perspective.

Who will replace DCE if/whenhe gets injured ? lacking depth in halves bigtime.

I make several references to how much ability Jennings has in the article – I welcome criticism but best to stick to what has actually been written.
Roosters better off without Michael Jennings
He earns a lot of cash QConners to make “one run”. Your money not mine please.

Tom, what article did you read? I’d be keen to read the one that mentioned Galavao, King and Kite.
Manly's winning culture in doubt after major reshuffle
Couldn’t agree with you more Ron, chasing Griffin’s signature would’ve been a stellar move!
Manly's winning culture in doubt after major reshuffle
Nate Myles is past his peak I’m afraid, he showed very few glimpses of his old form last year for the Titans.
Manly's winning culture in doubt after major reshuffle
I agree with you on the latter points Maxwell.

Yes you’re right, we do quickly forget that Bearfax – because it was way back in 1972.

If the Roosters halves can perform, the rest of team will follow. A big ‘if’ though.
Sydney Roosters 2016 NRL season preview
I think time wasting is an issue but I don’t see scoring a try as a time wasting tactic. I would like to see30 second shot clocks for drop outs, conversions, kick offs, scrum feeds etc. All of the areas where we leak time and the viewer gets no reward for it.
Should rugby league stop the clock?
I’m not convinced the QLD coach is very important with that current crop of players.
Walters gets Queensland Origin job
Well said AJM – a good point on the plane travel aspect, it’s definitely a handicap.
Best recruitment in club history has all eyes on Warriors
I think the allure of the Immortal tag is the fact that it is such an exclusive club. I agree you can create an argument for many more players but we should be maintaining a tough criteria to get in. This is the very point of the concept.
There are too few immortals
I think I can actually hear the odds of a Brisbane premiership this year shortening…what a purchase for an already outstanding roster!
James Roberts to become a Bronco in 2016
Wow! How can someone get it so wrong??? The Hodges incident would not have been a problem for people had the NRL been adjudicating that kind of decision like that all year. But they decided to change their interpretation at the most pivotal moment of the most watched game all year. I don’t have a problem with a shepard if a player does not use it to his advantage. That should always be the question, did the ball carrier obtain an advantage? And just on obstruction, often the decoy is not running 10 yards past the play, most of the time the attacking line and defending line are pretty close together and they try to stop but they can’t turn invisible. You talk about boring plays, how about a game where decoys are outlawed? That’s where we are heading.
Farah slams new NRL obstruction rules
Eaglejack, that was a joke of a decision, even Lyon will tell you that. Was a great try and was the only one the Tigers looked likely to score all night the poor buggers.
Farah slams new NRL obstruction rules
It was great to see such a high quality game between these two teams after that Thursday night game that almost turned me off my dinner. Had a ball watching two teams play open attacking footy. Keep it up boys! (except when you play the Roosters, you have permission to have a shocker then).
Storm down Broncos 32-26 in NRL
Adam Reynolds is a MUST for Origin. You could not put Adam Reynolds and Mitchell Pearce in the same league. The blues halves team sheet needs to read: 7 A. Reynolds, 6 J Reynolds – then we might have a chance.
Reynolds stars in Rabbitohs NRL win
100% correct Scotty, The Roosters are not at the top in this department, but they are far from the bottom either when you look at some of the other clubs. Didn’t seem to hear quite the hysteria when John Sutton and Luke Burgess belted someone up in the States or when JT got into a scuffle with police in 2010, arrested for causing a public nuisance in Brisbane. The incidents at Bondi have been relatively minor over the last couple of years in comparison. A bit specious of you to suggest Jake I hate to say that some of those players you mentioned are part of the Roosters culture problem when they happened at other clubs.
Do the Roosters have a culture problem?
