I’d be happy to see Jake White considered. He has a solid record and he did well at the Brumbies. The Brumbies have been far more consistent since his time there. There’s been a lingering solidity to their fundamentals that could benefit the WBs. White was the form coach in Australia when Ewen McKenzie was appointed Wallabies coach.

Agree. Anyone who is eligible and is good enough should be considered for the wallabies irrespective of where they’re currently playing. Rugby is struggling in Australia and surely a successful national team offers the best chance of turning that around. That has to be the highest priority, I reckon.

Reading the good writeup on Fines-Leleiwasa, I wonder whether the Force have spent their money wisely on White. They’re already pretty well served at scrumhalf. Might have been better to spend the $ strengthening the squad elsewhere? Fines-Leleiwasa could keep getting a lot of game time that way too.
