Looking forward to that reserve front row coming on 🥊

Wallaroos name THREE debutants for Canada clash, big-name prop benched

So what you’re saying is the Reds keep choking and the Brumbies know how to grind out a game?

'Run-on debut like no other': Junior Wallabies flyer announces himself to the world after stunning hat-trick

Call me a sceptic but why would we replace some genuinely passionate rugby people with who knows what? Sure changes have to be made but this stinks of a couple of your guys getting on the board. It’s the captains letter all over again. There’s been some really positive changes made since Hamish left, so I for one would like to see how this pans out until after the Lions.

On a recent podcast, one of the members of your group, Geoff Stooke, mentioned that he thought that women’s rugby and 7’s should have their funding cut. In light of the Wallaroo’s long term sponsorship through to after the 2029 World Cup, and the women’s 7’s teams a medal contender at the olympics, that would appear to be, in all fairness, a rather dumb remark. Can you clarify if that’s a position you agree with?

COMMENT: Australian rugby is a depressing picture - the RA board must be axed and the constitution changed

Hey Russ, appreciate your thoughts but perhaps concentrate on the stinking crap heap that is NSW Rugby. Maybe look at why their development is so poor. Why did so many of the recent under 19s choose to go elsewhere rather than stay with the Tahs? Since the departure of HM, most of the decisions have positive. You’re throwing accusations around, but I can’t see anything about what you would do to make improvements. Except of course throwing out the current board. Wouldn’t be angling for a spot on the board would you? No thanks if that’s the case.

There’s a difference between a bit wound up and racially abusing someone.

Speaking for the Brumbies, they have a team ethos. You buy in or you don’t play there. They may not have the country’s best players in specific positions but everyone knows their job and for the most part do their job well. They also don’t throw kids in too early. They play against men in the JID cup which is a lot stronger than what many outsiders think. Even Bobby V spent a couple of years in the NRC before a full time Brumbies contract was on offer. They’re not thrown to the wolves. Contrast that to the Tahs where all the ‘stars’ go to. It’s no wonder the good NSW kids are moving to Canberra. It’s a tight knit community here and for the players even more so.

To those of you that fell for it even momentarily. I’ve taken names. Your opinions will never be considered again 😂

EXCLUSIVE: Schmidt to appoint David Warner as Wallabies leadership consultant

Brumbies have scored 1 maul try since round 11 last year. Folau Faessler’s scored 5 this year. Maul tries aren’t that bad when it’s your team that’s scoring them.

Joe Schmidt's search for a 'cold-hearted bastard' - and the issue he'll lose most sleep over

They’re letting in around 20 points per game as opposed to the Reds who are conceding an average of approximately 27 per game. Missed tackles as opposed to not tackling?

ANALYSIS: Good teams win when they're not at their best - but the Brumbies have a lot to fix to challenge in Super Rugby

To be fair I’ve also heard him pronounce Corey Toole as Andy Muirhead before 😂

Probably try following them 😱
Everyone else seems to see enough. Crowds while small, were actually significantly bigger than in previous years.
How can you not know when a game is on if you’re a fan? Not hard to find. Sure marketing isn’t great but I’m guessing when you’re on the smell of an oily rag that’s one of the first things that gets cut

Brumbies shut down talk of following Rebels into voluntary administration

League, AFL and pretty much the same sports as anywhere else. I know we’re far removed from the rest of Australia sometimes but not that far

I watch a lot of John I Dent. The standard is much improved and player numbers have increased quite significantly. Reckon they’d definitely give the SS a run for their money. Saying that, I haven’t been that impressed with what I’ve seen from SS. Not what it once was

What is the Rebels' endgame? A Super club in Melbourne makes sense - but only if their players play in local comps

It’s a case of 15 of those 18 players choosing to go to the Brumbies because they have the best development

Super Rugby clubs want a handout? That's a disgrace, the game is already broke

1) The percentage of registered players to population for both NSW and ACT are the same.

2) Brumbies crowds were closer to 10k not 5k for 2023.

Hard to manage money when you don’t have any. RA’s decision to convert a grant of $1.7m into an interest bearing loan after the fact would’ve been a key reason for the Brumbies losing trust in RA. I mean, why would you?

Stan’s been the best thing to come out of this mess. Far better coverage than fox ever gave us. Glad he’s gone. A narcissist of the highest order
