I’m interested in reading this article and the predictions. Sadly I think the expectation that the Kiwi teams will dominate is going to be true.
I’ve also read with interest the comments about the super rugby competition needs rejigging so every team has a chance of winning. I’m not sure how this is possible or realistic as the Kiwis just have their franchises and teams sorted. Let’s not forget that in the first year of super rugby the Crusaders finished last. Last year the Force pushed several of the top rated teams very close. The reality I believe comes down to the fact that if we are ever going to have the success the kiwis have we need to follow their example in all areas. I remember when Robbie Deans was the Wallabies coach and the players signed a petition because they didn’t like his coaching style. He seemed to get on all right with the Crusaders and they did well under him. I have said it before but I feel that we have built our rugby players up to think they are something they’re not. I found it embarrassing during the World Cup hearing the hype and build up to the Georgia game and then the ridiculous claims after the unconvincing win that the Wallabies should have won the Rugby Championship.
No we have to be honest and realistic we are in a bit of a low period but that will change if we allow change to happen and it needs to from the top down. Hamish recently said he would do the whole Eddie Jones appointment débâcle again well isn’t the definition of insanity continuing to do what doesn’t work over and over again. That by the way is not directed at Jones as he was given a mission impossible.
We need an inter club competition that then takes the best two or four clubs into a national competition played at proper venues not some oval at the end of the road.
Come on rugby Australia actually start to earn your reasonably large salaries by doing something that doesn’t involve excuses and blaming others

ANALYSIS: Every Super Rugby team rated - and why Australia will make up ground on New Zealand

I don’t know about your comments I note that Foster praised the Boks for being such a strong team that handles pressures well. I also noted that they stood Talea down for a major game because he broke a team rule.
I m not going to say to much as I’m a Wallabies supporter and man we made ourselves out to be complete plonks

'My heart breaks for him': Boks coach's message to Ian Foster is pure class as he bows out an unlucky loser

Considering the wet conditions that was a great effort by both teams. Congratulations to South Africa a fourth title and to New Zealand to push that hard and to be that close with 14 on the field for the majority of the game exceptional. Both teams deserved to be in the final both teams deserved the win. Can’t wait for next season of the rugby championship to see you play each other again

THE GREATEST! Boks beat All Blacks in instant classic to claim record FOURTH RWC in controversial, dramatic final

I think the weather helped England really thought SA would win relatively easily they kept their composure and ended as the victor.
The other semi was played in wet as well but both teams played with width and made use of the backs. This game was slightly boring but predictable should be a very entertaining game next week if the kiwis aren’t allowed to control the game as they did against Argentina

'What you live for': Boks beat England in World Cup EPIC to set up mouth-watering final against All Blacks

I would also like to say regarding the Foster issue he is also the only AB coach to have to contend with COVID and all the boarder closures that were in place at the start of the pandemic.
He has joined the ranks of other great All black coaches. This is another area that the Kiwis have significant depth in and they have a cohesive national structure if we are to be competitive in our home World Cup we need to stop talking about how rubbish our structure is and start changing. We need stability and common sense not just endless bickering and finger pointing. This World Cup debacle is not even Eddie Jones fault yes he is a buffoon with his nonsensical comments in the media but we need to see some action from the RA management very soon or we will be the laughing stock in four years time

'Mature, clinical and getting better every time': All Blacks time run perfectly as they hone in on fourth title

No I think the ABs were out of second gear but they are running like a high performance sports car. They are all aware of their game plan and what they’re required to do and are really gelling. But I think the same is true of South Africa and even England. So who ever the Kiwis meet next week it will be a challenge but should be a great game and will be won by the best team on the day.

'Mature, clinical and getting better every time': All Blacks time run perfectly as they hone in on fourth title

That was an incredible game, incredible that NZ had 14 men on the field for twenty minutes.
I’m not sure the Argentine Wales game was in the same league. Will be interesting to see how the Kiwis go next weekend. But this did prove one thing and that is the right team did win the rugby championship. I still cringe when I think of that journalistic debacle
Hope our cross Tasman rival’s keep going

37 phases and OUT! Whitelock the hero as All Blacks win epic RWC QF to break Ireland's hearts again

Hope we don’t progress because whoever we were to meet in the quarterfinals it could be embarrassing

Wallabies' RWC hopes still alive after wild win over Portugal - but it will take a miracle to avoid historic first flop

Very sad to see the Wallabies go down this way.
Players are good enough maybe there should have been Quade Cooper and Michael Hooper there, too late now to speculate.
What there should never have been was the media tomfoolery that was present throughout the campaign. The game against Georgia was billed as the biggest game ever, thankfully a win but not a terrific one, and certainly not one to suggest that the wrong team won the rugby championship. The players would have read that. The media should show integrity or at least common sense and said how it really was “we won but not convincingly” let’s cut out the journalistic buffoonery and help our team. That is as bigger problem as RA and there crazy decisions.
Eddie take Hamish and your wives to Centrelink they may be eligible for the carers payment

'Bloody disappointed: Wallabies OUT of World Cup as nation to miss finals for first time, Eddie fights for survival

I agree in fact I think the problem is consistency in keeping the same team. CG is 22 he’s going to become excellent if given the chance. The kiwis had a bloke called Dan Carter one of the best 10s there has ever been but he started as a centre and had several shaky games when he became the 10. Let’s support these blokes they’re all world class players maybe it’s rugby Australia that’s the biggest problem

The horror five minutes that put Wallabies' World Cup on life support as Eddie's huge 10 call falls flat

I hope Jones sticks with CG maybe like SBJ said have an older experienced bloke there to support and mentor. We may lose a few more games but he’s 22years ahead of him. Drop him now he’s likely to head overseas and be lost. What Jones needs to do is stop with the outrageous claims which add extra pressure on a team still trying to find itself. The players are world class maybe they’re not the problem. Just saying

The horror five minutes that put Wallabies' World Cup on life support as Eddie's huge 10 call falls flat

I don’t think it’s over yet. We should take Wales. What is wrong is the way we have talked up the ridiculous. The Georgia game was hyped up like Georgia was the strongest team in the world. We won not by a huge margin and all of a sudden we should have won the rugby championship the all blacks were a disgrace. Come on let’s be real.
The problem is the press, the players are world class I think the management structure s are not working Mr Jones is great to listen to but is he the right coach for the Wallabies maybe not this time around. RA is it seems always looking for the quick fix, time is what we need and not knee jerk reactions that unsettle the players. If we beat Wales please don’t say that the Wallabies are now going to win the World Cup. Wales isn’t that big of a challenge we should win we should get to the next phase. We should have scored 50 against Georgia we should have done way better but as we swap coaches just prior to the World Cup what we need is to have new managers at the top level and stick with a coach create stability not flounder around
