Playing rugby would be the primary cause.

UPDATE: Clearest sign that Wallabies captain Skelton is OUT of Fiji game, coach names back up skipper

Fair enough.

Wallabies CONFIRMED: Key Wallabies duo out, Frost back and hooker swap for 'most important match of World Cup'

So what you want to say without saying it they shoulda stuck with Rennie. 🥊

Wallabies CONFIRMED: Key Wallabies duo out, Frost back and hooker swap for 'most important match of World Cup'

Probably has to do with how Aussie became more interested in individuals and so many other sports and how rugby is really not a huge sport in the country. As such when some dropkick reporters need a story they focus on one individual. If they were a good team no one would focus much on individuals. Sad for them. But it’s not a big sport for there.

Would just add to that BoxDoc some points that capitalise on each time this newfound discipline occurs. Just a thought.

“Why don’t you kick off the discussion AC?”
Looks like I did precisely that. You’re welcome.

If you thought your 9, or Skelton or indeed Vunivalu was going to be the reasons for you losing a pool game it says a lot about how you view rugby strategy. This is not a gameplan. You need 30+ points on the scoreboard by full time. That’s your objective. This stuff is commentary on individuals. Wake up to yourself Aussie. You used to be about the team not the individual. Teams win world cups. Not individuals.

Who cares. It doesn’t change much to be honest. Aussie needs to have 30+ on the scoreboard by full-time to be in the winner’s circle. I want to hear more discussion and commentary as to how you adapt during a game as opposed to mindless waffle pre game.

The “ads” I get continue to assert that Kochie and Richard Wilkins are global criminal masterminds. Guess it says a lot about me.

'Asking for trouble': The 'different mindset' that has Fiji primed to push Wallabies

If by half time Aussie has 20 or more on the board (even if they are behind on the scoreboard) you will know they are on track. By full time they need 30+ on the board to secure the win. The objective is pretty clear.

That’s absurd. What you mean is that somewhere two phases back the defence folded and there is now broken phase? Not sure about this Aussie bloke but no 15 in the world is defending against an attacking line that has broken your midfield or channels completely.

Below the age of 40 perhaps. My point was on the inane comment of ‘doing’ v ‘teaching’ or indeed coaching. Not a pretty sight seeing these blokes out playing I would have thought. Probably didn’t make it well enough. Will give myself an uppercut. 🥊

It would not matter if you had Antoine Dupont at 9. You will need to work out a way to put 30+ on that scoreboard. Regardless. Or you will lose. You will have to not only do it against Fiji but Wales also.

Sending Eddie, Hansen, Ewen McKenzie, Rassie and co out on the pitch to “do” instead of teach would be something that is for sure…an ugly, messy something.

Aussie can kick their way to victory for the 30+ points they need make no mistake. Leaning towards a hybrid of paths here. They will need to change paths at least twice in this game is my hunch.

English way, Welsh way, Brumby way or the 'fight Pacific fire with a Pacific inferno' way: Eddie's four options vs Fiji

They will need to put 30+ on the Welsh also in my opinion. Have a very strong view that Aussie only win games when they can have a fast start (see them against NZ in Otago recently but then they went off the mission) and finish with 30+ on the board. Simplistic? Yes. Sustainable? No. But it’s a World Cup, you don’t get another go for another 4 years.

“The last time Fiji beat the Wallabies was in the 1950s. So why worry?”

Aussie has not won back to back tests in almost 2 years. That’s the one stat to include too. What way delivers 30+ on the scoreboard for them? The journey is multiple but the destination is concrete. Becomes a lot simpler when you can see the mission objective in my opinion.

White kick approx ‘41 mins in Georgia game is what he should do. The rest is often rubbish without a world class chase, pressure and regather. Regardless, Aussie ain’t winning without 30+ on that scoreboard. They will need to work out a way to do that not just before the game but as it progresses. Otherwise will come away with the L.

Hallelujah! And that was an excellent piece of writing Tony. Memories of yesteryear when some Roar writing was about stuff that meant something. Give yaself an uppercut.

Three days of magic, then the ultimate buzzkill. How can we fix the biggest problem with the Rugby World Cup?

Live wire 9 for sure. Give him a shot, sure. I would lean to White to start but that’s me. What continues to perplex is the over complication and lack of awareness on much of Aussie analysis and what needs to be done. Put 30+ on that scoreboard! It’s a simple but very visible objective. In the age of visualisation in professional sport just visualise that. Do it however you wish to do it. In the words of Professor Nike “just do it”. Put 30+ on that scoreboard. Simple objective. Not rocket surgery.
Edit: 30+ points is for BMac.

Wallabies bolter has played just one Test - but picking him over veteran would stick to Eddie's new 'mantra'

What can I say, your juvenile comments inspired me to drop the tone a few levels again. 30+ on the board or they have not won. Simple objective. Don’t fight the truth BMac. Not your style. 🥊

Kerevi vs Semi: Can Eddie afford to go into crunch Fijian RWC clash with underdone Wallabies star

At last! The man, the myth, the legless.

SPIRO ZAVOS: Skelton a force of nature, All Blacks' strategic error that has put their World Cup in peril

That’s 30+ illiterate Phil. The more juvenile can’t seem to handle more specifics. England didn’t heed the warning. Wales almost gave it away in the end. So 30+ points or you are crying in your beer. To be honest Aussie will need 30+ against Wales too. 30+ or prepare for disappointment. Luck won’t be enough Phil!

The more juvenile can’t handle specifics. 30+ just to be generous. England didn’t need the warning. Wales almost gave it away. 30+ or you are crying in your beer. To be honest Aussie going to need 30+ against Wales too. I would suggest it’s a simple objective but no doubt it will be over analysed by the uppercut muppets in the media. Bury your head in the sand Phil but luck won’t be enough!

The last time Aus met Fiji at a World Cup the scoreline was 39-21 to Aus. Going to need 30+ this time too.
