Sounds like your better off supporting a SANFL team and leave the AFL to those who know. FYI the VFL was never in fiancial ruin (only certain clubs like swans, lions who moved interstate to stay in). Lets face it, all the rest you say is dribble. Sydney, Port, WC, Adelaide, Brisbane have all won GFs. Soon GC and GWS will add to that. You talk Shenanigans!

What is blindingly obvious it is to anyone?….. All teams get home advantage (home games). Win and get home finals. Win and get the chance to play at the MCG in a grand final. Thats the way it is. The thing is the AFL came from the VFL (the premier league)! It will allways have more teams because of this. Ask any eagles or crows supporter who they grew up watching before there teams joined the AFL? Be happy it wasnt the SANFL or WAFL because you still have your home grown competition. Vic dont.

Dimma is def the right man for this job. Just look at what he did with the mighty Tiges! The Academy players are all fair being local GC boys and will fit in just nice. This team will soon tear other clubs another one!! Looking forward to that but hopefully the Tiges will know Dimma’s plans too well and have a leg up on his game style.

Yep the long term has been raised! I think it will be good for the game long term up here having GC and GWS getting some type of marque games. im glad we all have explained our selfs now. Sounds like macca always knows best and his opinion counts 😂

For starters, hopefully Melb, Rich, Carl and Coll supporters travel up to help fill the grounds in particular GC and GWS grounds. Not to sure on Melb but the other 3 have massive supporter bases up here as well. Having these 4 (3 very big clubs) will help bring a lift in atmosphere. Nothing to do with NRL Macca (who cares). Main thing is the Tiges and Pies at the new clubs is great news for NSW and QLD. The rest of you can winge as much as you like. 😂 Ill be at the GC game with ide say about 10k extra Tiger Supporters. I was at the Rich v StKilda final in 2020 and its a good atmosphere with around 20k 😁

Talk about an over reaction Tim!!! Who cares if the Titans are playing on the same day anyway. Not too many would be going to both games and so what if they did. The difficult task is catering for the exclusive 4 games only. Northern states to have an opening round will be good for footy in the long run. Rich v Carl will still get 80+ the following week. I hope you enjoyed youre sooky lala

Why would it matter where and when the NRL are playing anyway? This 4 game opening round is awesome for growth in NSW and QLD. Slowly GC Suns and GWS are growing

hmmm, im not sure I would complain there! its a hand out 4 points from the AFL to help Bris into the top 4 again. They want Sydney, GWS, GC or Brisbane playing finals and one of them premiers.

Awesome marketing by the NRL here!! Growth in both AFL and NRL is an important competition in Australia. The competitive spirit is at times wrangled out over the top and at all cost. Both sports have die hards and would never like to see the other progress. Ahhh thats the great Aussie spirit right there. Nothing will change hey. Its a shame because both are totally different great games.

Essendon are loaded and how are they going? Much better than Freo though! Fair excuses would cut it but Freo members put there support of mediocre at, on and over all cost including success. Just saying IMO Freo are there own worst enemy. If this type of support happend at Richmond, Collingwood, WC, Crows, Port just to name a few, the AFL would be a problem, not just Freo.

All Simon Goodwin heresay has been unfounded! Absolutly unfounded talk. Tighten up on Oliver, Smith and May would do marvels for the club. The former pres Bartlett seems to have had a lot to say and without backup or proof. Its a shame Goody had to face the media to clear his good name (pardon the pun).
