Ah the great brumbies myth.

Seriously you dont actually produce players from the grass roots. Victoria has produced more wallabies than the ACT.

EXCLUSIVE: 'I had my go' - The ex-Wallaby who drove Ireland to No.1 and why he's rejected an SOS from RA

He had McReight as a phase 1 crash ball multiple times…

I mean really???

I'm not giving up on the Wallabies, but I have no idea where they're going now

We don’t have the talent to do Jake ball at international level, and I’ve never seen White do anything beyond Jake ball.

Current Brumby ball is middling at best at SR level and yet we persist with it at test level. And people scratch their heads at the current situation…

Why wasn’t Clearly kicking to find grass in the corners on tackle 3 and 4 to turn the big kiwi pack around?

It’s exactly what DCE did in origin and why QLD won.

I was shocked it wasn’t even attempted.

Kangaroos Tops & Flops: Mal gets the big calls right, but Latrell and Nathan need to do more

Hopefully the review finds that McKellar and Fisher have been hamstrung by Rennie with the key recommendation being a full Brumby revolution!

'Everything's on the table': RA considers Rennie's future, radical selection oversight, after Italy debacle

The Wallabies definitely need Tom Hooper at 6. He’s world class, in fact best in the world and we’d be a top 3 team with him in there.

The Wrap: We saw nine different ways to lose a game, and six of them from the Wallabies

The Wallabies issue is there’s not enough brumbies in the team or the coaching panel.

Gutsy Kangaroos fight through to World Cup final after edging out Kiwis in bruising battle

Rennie was one of the ones pushing the Reds heavily to play Jordy at 15. The Reds obliged being team players despite it weakening their team.

Rennie then goes ahead and picks him at 15 for one test, where he knocked himself out after 2 minutes – yeah sure you can’t help bad luck.

Rennie then doesn’t look at him again at 15. its just another example of how all over the shop Rennie is with certain players.

WALLABIES TEAM: Rennie hails Jock's 'great story' ahead of debut, Tate starts at No.9 and Hoops picks himself

Rennie hails the great story of the best 15 in SR AU over the last 2 years which he’s ignored… yeah, ok.

Geez talking it up a bit after a fluke win many years ago…

'We don't want it to be a fluke': Daniel Tupou on the Tongan takeover of international rugby league

Gleason wasn’t that special. Got dominated by lesser / older players, which he shouldn’t have. If he goes on tour it just proves how out of touch Rennie is with inconsistency in selection. Some guys can do no wrong and others get 30mins in a no win situation.

Only only passable forward was Lonergan who is dynamic but 10kg too Light for test match rugby in the front row. Bit like Sia Fa’ainga. Needs to put bulk on.

His brother…. Jesus no where near tests standard.

Australia A tour of Japan perfectly timed for inevitable Spring tour call-ups

Hooper was the best player in the world last year, regardless of where the fan award went.

Samu had some nice touches ball in hand but has been weak at the breakdown and defensively exceptionally poor for a 7.

McReight has been far better so far.

Rugby News: Hoops set for comeback, RTS to NRL 'whisper', Tupou close to contract decision, Raynal breaks silence

Wilson won’t get picked again. He gets chucked in when Rennie wants a Hail Mary and gets churned out when his backrow partners disappear. Wilson had the best work rate against England in test 3 but got dumped.

Valentine always falls apart against tough packs and Samu missed too much work to be considered a standout. Hooper would rightfully be destroyed for a performance like that.

Rugby News: Hoops set for comeback, RTS to NRL 'whisper', Tupou close to contract decision, Raynal breaks silence

People are dumping in Wilson but he was far more industrious than either Samu or Valenti.

Wilson’s stats (not just tackles) were far better than either of those two in half the time.

I remember Greg Smith. He had a brain tumour so that explains a lot of it!

I think this is worse than Deans and Cheika – yes that includes the McCalmann to 7 and McCabe at 12 stunts, or Tahu at all..

'Pull my head in': Uncomfortable truth confronting Wallabies captain as discipline issues dominate Bledisloe prep

I guess he can’t comment on selections.

Honestly the worst picked wallabies team in my life time.

White, AAA, Noah, Arnold, Wright.

Brumbies players doing brumbies thing. You pay monkeys you get peanuts.

REACTION: Boks turn salty tears into raging torrent of revenge, Marika smashed and humbled in TRC 'mugging'

Sure you can have them, but I’m taking back Roff from my list as he was always an ACT product.

While the brumbies were the cast offs from QLD & NSW the argument that they were the foundation of the 1999 wallabies is an absolute myth.

The 1999 RWC team was a core of Reds players with a key parts from ACT and NSW. Similarly the 1991 RWC was a core around NSW with some key parts (2nd row, 10, 12 & 13) from QLD.

Australia is at its best when NSW and QLD are firing on all cylinders, just like they were in 1991 and 1999.

The Suaalii hype is real – but Rugby Australia still doesn't need him

Massive myth that the 1999 team was Tahs rejects. Lots of Reds players, Foley, Crowley, Eales, Giffin was a reds reject, Paul came from NZ via QLD, Kefu, Wilson, cockbain, Horan, Hebert, Little, Tune, Conners,

I’ll give you Gregan, Melon and Roff as rejects.

Larkham was from the area.

The Suaalii hype is real – but Rugby Australia still doesn't need him

He was poor against the All Blacks last year and poor on the EOYT.

He was also poor in test 2 and 3 against England.

He was passable against France last year and Argentina this year. He was good against the springboks and Argentina last year when Kerevi was setting him up doing the hard work on Phase 1 ball.

Wallabies CONFIRMED: Rennie makes SIX starting team changes for Boks battle, opts for 6-2 bench split

Another one is a being very vocal about the Reds playing Petia at 15 despite it weakening their own backline by shifting Campbell to wing. The Reds comply and what does Rennie do?

Goes for Banks, then finally picks him due to injury. Petia gets a head knock (not Rennie’s fault) but when he is back on deck fit, he moves Tom Wright to 15 who has not played their at all and discarded Petia to wing.

So despite most of SR at 15 and only 10 minutes of test rugby before injury, Rennie has seen enough and determined that a bloke who rarely plays 15 is better at test Level? Please.

Wallabies CONFIRMED: Rennie makes SIX starting team changes for Boks battle, opts for 6-2 bench split

Same thing as always with a Rennie. Picking woefully out of form players expecting different results at test level. He did the same thing with To’omua over the last few years – picking key players from Australia’s worst performing back line and scratching his head when they fall apart for Australia.

McKellar and him do the same thing in the forwards. Brumbies reserve grade hookers no matter what – meaning the set piece is shunted around (wasn’t McKellar supposed to make us the best in the word at this??). Playing musical chairs in the second row doing everything they can to give Swain minutes despite Phillips being the head and shoulders best lock for the past 2 years. Chopping and changing 6 despite Valentini making no ruck impact and not getting through his defensive work. I’ll give it you something for nothing McKellar, the woeful breakdown work isn’t down to just the 6…

The inconsistency (some players given every chance in the world, some not even a chance despite form) and musical chairs on selection is worse than the Cheika years.

He was born and bred in Sydney…

Playing for nsw and maybe Australia is pride in the jersey.

Talakai’s tough choice as Tonga calls keep coming – but Fittler has him in Blues frame

And why would he commit to Australia – less club pay, less international pay, less professional systems, less public support…

If I was him it’d be England all the way too.
