Like nearly all rugby in Australia 7s is not on free to air so the audience has little chance of developing. At the moment the Australian 7s team seems to be getting worse with each tournament. Last weekend they nearly lost to Portugal and their only convincing win was against Kenya. What’s up with them? Don’t know but it seems to be that the winning teams all have a speedster who can leave the chasers in the dust. This is one thing Aus doesn’t have and seem to mostly score out wide. Maybe it’s as others have commented they just get on the piss…
