I am a North Sydney Bears fan. There are tens of thousands of us still around. I belong to The Bears FB page and we believe a founding team like the Bears have an inalienable right to be in the First Grade competition. Bring back the Bears.

Has everyone forgotten The Bears? There are tens of thousands of die hard Bears fans still out there. Many have been born in the past 20 years and are waiting to see their first game. The Bears were a founding team and were treated so badly. We still want our team back. Why don’t the people who run the League show some leadership and ethics and BRING BACK THE BEARS. Right the wrongs of 20 years ago. If there was the will to do it, it would be done in a click of a finger. It can be done if more than the Bears fans stand up and be counted. I hope someone listens and at least contemplates this idea. I know $$$$$$ is a big factor but the founding of Rugby League wasn’t focused on profit before people. Where have we gone wrong? This would make sooo many people sooo happy – if North Sydney Red and Black Bears returned. PS and I know many other supporters I talk to have a soft spot for the good old Bears, I’m sure they’d love to see them back too. What a boost for Rugby League it would be! Go You Bears!
