I have to agree with the fact that RA has dropped the ball for the past 10 years.
As the president of a regional junior club I can tell you that we get sweet FA help from RA and the back end process of Rugby administration is totally overcomplicated and changes quicker than Clark Kent in a phone box.
I also agree 100% that the fact that free to air coverage is not available is a massive factor in Rugby’s decline. Most of the U17 boys in my team don’t watch Super Rugby at all because it is unaffordable to them. That is so detrimental to their game development as they are not watching their hero’s try new things week to week or witnessing the changing tactics of the game. It also stifles any chance of introducing new kids to the game, with the knock on effect of more numbers to sign on.
Every kid at our local school has the opportunity to go to AFL Auskick and they leave with a ball, sticker or poster. That is what the look at before they go to sleep at night. RA has missed this point entirely.
Surely with every major TV station now having 3 or more content streams RA could stitch up a deal and make Rugby accessible again. Unfortunately they were so short sighted in their cash grab with Pay TV they have white anted their own foundations.

Rugby has a problem with exclusivity

I have to disagree here. Clearly game plan was pivotal tonight and the random selections have killed any chance for the Wallabies to build cohesion. Our inability to come up with Plan B or C and our lack of execution comes from the coach.

England eliminate Wallabies in World Cup quarter-final

I agree 100% here Zenn, this is the team I was going to post. I like the forwards but I just wish the backs had a dozen more games in this formation. I think then they could play with confidence and freedom rather than being so structured and safe at the moment scared that a mistake might cost them their spot. I think Cheika has no idea with the backs and has undermined the whole team with his last 3 years of selection process and an inability to develop younger players.

VOTE: Pick your Wallabies team to face England in the World Cup quarter-final

Most amount of deaths in sport are actually in lawn bowls.

Another red! Bundee Aki gets a red card for devastating high shot

Couldn’t agree more Wallie

Georgia rate Wallabies pack among finest

TK did run some great lines Vs Uruguay, I think JOC or Toomua at 12 could use him more effectively than Kerevi. It is just so obvious what Kerevi is going to do

Georgia rate Wallabies pack among finest

To be fair to Pocock the way the break down has been policed has been a joke. Clean outs from the side and no gate

Use Jordan Petaia to re-boot the Wallabies' World Cup challenge

That sounds good to me

England stuff the Wallabies - again

No Dave you may be right there but the fact remains that over several games he has not played any where near his best and is now picked totally out of position when it is clear he is not a 12. He has consistently been coming up with handling errors, dumb kicks and passes to no one and his continued selection over other players in the squad shows that the loyalty (or favoritism) of Cheika is totally skewed.

England stuff the Wallabies - again

So frustrating that Cheika is unaccountable for this teams poor results. His game plans are childish and his selections spoiled by favoritism.
Best backline for me till Hodge returns is
Gordon, Toomua, Kerevi and Folau at 13.
Koroibete, Maddock on the wings
DHP at the back
Beale on the bench for the last 20
I think England if they played like they did vs the AB’s will win by 30, but I will still get up and watch

C’mon, guys; Australia weren’t so bad against Italy

Not sure how you could possibly put Foley in there. First two touches and you get 2 stupid kicks, aimless kicking down the field, passed the try in behind for their try.
Cheika handicapped Toomua because he didn’t have a proper 12 outside him. Put Kerevi at 12 Folau at 13 and DHP to full back. Genia to the bench, we need to shake this team up. Give Gordon a go. It is too late to win against England, we are on a hiding to nothing, but not to late to develop players for the world cup.

Michael Cheika can't win, even when the Wallabies do
