I’ll always take my hat off too Smith, still doesn’t look or act like your usual NRL player, is also Teflon coated when it come to getting in trouble or injured. Smith is also Captain/Coach of Storm.

What we don’t want is this good NSW side getting too far ahead of themselves, or listening to the media.
The two best players in last weekends comp games, Slater & Thurston.
Both of them can change QLDs fortunes in a single play, in any game.
NSW will need to play smarter, tougher and more physical then in game 1 (Hopefully they have another gear), to get over the top of a good QLD squad.
QLD have too many, been there done that winners in their side to let game 2 worry them too much at the moment.
QLD will not leave one stone unturned to get over the top of NSW.
Major Wrestling , Slowing down the play, Sledging, Getting under NSW skin, Smith will be the 3rd ref, Off side all the time, Thier spoiling tactics, Pushing every rule to the MAX. Whatever They Can Do To Win!!!
They will love and cherish the underdog tag. (Every team loves That Tag) !!!!!

The public is overloaded with league.
We can watch every game live on TV.
This is a lot better and heaps Cheaper (which is the biggest factor to all the league fans, a family of 4 it would cost around $200.00 for tickets,(food & drinks), with a beer. & a drink for mum and dad. WAY TOO MUCH !!!
I don’t live close to any games and I wouldn’t be bothered going to any, which I used to do before FOXTEL.
We know what every player is earning, what they do on their time off. Finding out how spoilt some of these players are, leaving the club that put them on the map, all to chase big money somewhere else. No wonder the club fans are angry with their clubs and their players, No Good.
The 3 Origins needs to be played in a one month NRL comp break in the middle of the comp.
This is when NSW and QLD Country and City teams, The rest of Australia, Tonga, PNG, Samoa, Cook Island, NZ country & Maoris etc all play a league round robin. All these teams can have at least 4 fringe NRL players in each team. These games played the month comp has off for origin.
Origin is wrecking the NRL comp at the moment. NRL needs to fix ASAP.
Also each team in the comp must play each other in the first round, then they can play who ever after that in a system, the system now that some teams play each other twice in a month or so is bad. Comp seems to be all wrong with current system. FIXTHIS!!
Where rugby league's got it wrong
Being part of the common public lovers of the greatest game of all.
All I ever want is to watch a good game of rugby league when ever I can.
In the 80’s and before no one knew what a player was payed, what the league made etc etc. And the game we loved was great, we even went to a fair few games just to see our club win.
Now we know everything about everyone in the league, down to what undies they wear.
All the fans want is a great competition played and run by great people.
Aussie Rugby is as good as dead because it’s got a shit product, over payed players and administrators.
I worry that the NRL is going down the same path quickly !!!!
Today we are overwhelmed by players and adminstrators that they are worth more then our great game.
Get rid of this shit & let’s start again.
Remember NRL is suppose to be for all, from under 6’s in country league right through to the top.

Where rugby league's got it wrong
Great Idea, too many mistakes that players see but all officials somehow don’t.
Maybe have like cricket, challenge system.
There would be so many calls a half (2or3), if it’s correct team looses challenge, if refs mistake challenge will not be deducted.
Give it a go.

Dogs are so BLOODY BAD at the moment, they would be making their fans so disappointing.
But same as in the past, they may come good in the second half of the year (as they’ve done before).
When it comes to tipping them at the moment, it’s easy don’t tip them.
Des is stuck in his own coaching style and his own game plan, which both ain’t working.

Mentally QLD are hurting, which is now going to be their driving force.

No matter what happens at the selectors table, Queensland will lose Game 2
Leaving out Gallen & Farah out was the best thing NSW done towards winning any origin games. Should of done it years ago when all the other players were complaining about them.
Hopefully NSW can now win this years origin series, they’ve have to improve on last game. QLD won’t give them a free ride. NSW better be ready to go to war again, mentally and physically.

If these people can see how good or bad the players are going week to week, surely the Queensland (or should I say Bronco) selectors can see.
If your playing no good in the regular comp game, then your not going too go any good in a rep team.

The best TEAM will win.
QLD have had the best TEAM for a Long, Long Time.
NSW biggest obstacle is there is still a lot of QLD players in their TEAM that have be breed into QLD TEAM winning at all cost culture & a great TEAM.
NSW haven’t had or got the TEAM mentality yet.
Hopefully they switch on to win as a TEAM formula.
NSW I hope can win & start breeding this winning believe as a Great TEAM.

The best current players in the comp with the ticka to play origin should be in your origin team.
QLD legends Smith, Thurston, Slater, Scott, Cronk & Inglis (stolen from NSW) have made a lot of normally very ordinary origin players look like super stars, that’s for certain.
NSW haven’t got that luxury, and haven’t had it fo a long time. Maybe ever. Maybe Never.
Don’t pick never wassers like Farah, give Pearce a hooker like McInnes who’s young, good & hungry. Etc
Tradesman-like players are key to winning Origin

Another concept that the league couldn’t of been run worse if they tried.
This game should be played by up and coming players who are out to show all NRL clubs what they are made of.
Thats the best players with not many games under their belt, trying to put their hand up for club or future origin selection. Inspire the young guys.
Not for players who have played a lot of NRL games (more then 25),
and not for anyone who have already played origin or tests.
We all know them, play all the time. Then get 2 or 3 of the best young players from away from the NRL to join and play in the squad.
